Nena the owner was so friendly to my fiance and I when we went to Lambers to sample and recieve quotes for wedding cakes. She has a great sense of humor, and is really easy going (not at all like the negative reviews listed by angry customers).The strawberry cake was light, fluffy, subtle in its sweetness, and very fresh. It was so delicious! Thank you Nena for the laughs and cake, we are looking forward to working with you for our wedding! ?
My friend purchased a strawberry banana cake with slithered almonds on the 4th and then went back the next day and purchased another one it was so delicious. She has been purchasing from this bakery for years. I live in Carlsbad however will be going to visit this bakery very soon.

I love this bakery 19 yrs ago. She's made my wedding cake just the way I wanted it and had envisioned it. She also made all my birthday cakes since I was a kid I love there cakes it's differnt from all amercian cakes. It's spongy and the filling so good and my favorite is the chocolate flakes all around the cake with the glazed dipped strawberries. You will not get the best cake anywhere .
