I’ve been coming to this place for years and the food has always been good. My issue is this restaurant fails to hire competent staff. Every staff will see you stand by the desk and walk away without acknowledgment. The phone rings and no one picks it up, in fact they silence it when the restaurant isn’t even busy. I was dining in and both servers walked by the dirty table next to me and didn’t bother to clean it up. The service could be worked on by everyone.
Friends get together to enjoy ourselves with good conversation and great food. I get a kick out of the futuristic serving device that makes me think of the old TV Cartoon program, the Jetsons.
Paid additional $2 for meatball in my pho and there was probably less than 1 small meatball cut into fourths in there. Steak wasn’t rare when received as it usually is. Place was quiet on a week day around noon.
I prefer the Cajon Blvd location but went to this Broadway location because of a gift card which stated it’s only for use in the Chula Vista and Santee locations…well turns out they couldn’t get my gift card to work. She said the card number...
