I enjoyed a diverse selection at the Mexican restaurant, including the flavorful torta de chilaquil, Mexican hash with eggs and carne asada, huevo con chorizo, and the tortillas are handmade . The service was a bit slow, likely due to the limited staff with only two waiters. Despite that, the delicious food made the experience worthwhile.
First I thought that I left a review of Vanessa's.Well let me fix this right now!! I have my go to place on Broadway in Chula Vista but my place was packed on this particular Sunday. Well not wanting to wait we took off for Vanessa's.When we arrived the wait was not long. We sat down right away to the smell of Mexican food. The food was very tasty ,my wife had huevos rancheros and I had chilla killers!! I will be back to this place soon !! Enjoy

Food was very delicious. Tacos de luenga 10/10. Many food options, cafe de olla the best I have ever had. The service was not welcoming, a long time to give us the menus until I ask for them. One of the waitresses was nice and took care of us. The first impression is the one that makes a difference however I’m glad we stayed because food was delicious. There’s always room for improvement. Maybe they can work on a better greeting customers, and welcome them in.
