We used Don Jorge to cater a baby shower. We originally had a contract for 80 people but later upped it to 100. The food was good for the people who were able to get some. They ran out of food even though we calculated for 4 tacos per person. There definitely was not 400 tacos. I asked them to remedy the situation but they said they met their part of the contract. Thank God, i had the foresight to order more food from other places because i read previous reviews about them running out of food. I had to go through my credit card to get a partial refund.The food was good. Booking was easy. But running out of food is not a good look for a catering company. I would not recommend this business.

We had a beachside picnic in July 2023 and asked TDJ to provide us with tacos. They were on time and had a very professional set up. Two servers and handmade tortillas on site were big plusses, and everyone was pleased with the food and drink. The price was right and I was extremely pleased. I would use them again for another event and I highly recommend them.

Communication with the owners was great from our first correspondence. I needed to have assurance of gluten free food for my daughters engagement party as she has celiac. The owners were able to accommodate our dietary needs. The day of the party communication with the team was very good. They were stuck in traffic and it was nice to know they were running a little behind schedule. When they arrived they were polite, professional and efficient. Set up was beautiful. Food was delicious especially the grilled fish tacos. Many of our guests raved that these were best tacos from a Taco Man service they ever tasted. We would definitely book them again. Thank you.

Absolutely delicious! We booked this awesome taco catering business on Yelp. They were super quick to respond. The owner, José, provided a complete list of quotes and options. Very professional and very thorough. The team arrived an hour early to map out their cooking and serving area. They were very good at verifying that we were the customers and what we ordered. They were very courteous and professional.THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! I will certainly use this caterer again!! The taco meat (we chose chicken and carne asada) was seasoned very well, tortillas super fresh and authentic, salsa was DELICIOUS, cheese was amazing, cilantro flavorful, and THE BEST GUACAMOLE sauce! Rice and beans, quesadillas, mulitas, ALL DELICIOUS and AUTHENTIC!Definitely our family's preferred tacos caterer. We tipped each server, they did a great, professional job.Payment was a bit rocky, but they took a picture of our credit card and charged exactly what we asked. We also had the option to use Venmo or cash but the person paying for the order did not have a Venmo Account. Still, they were very honest and professional. Thank you for being so professional.

The quote was fast, clear and all charges were included. They answered emails quickly. Second, they were on time and quick with the set up. Lastly, the food was amazing! The bacon wrapped hotdogs were a great add on to our chicken and fish tacos. We have hired taco trucks in the past which were just average. I am glad I decided to try Tacos Don Jorge because they were by far the best. Our guest was so happy with the food that they went back for seconds and some thirds. Tacos Don Jorge did a speedy great job of cleaning up after serving. I will definitely use them for future parties.

Tacos Don Jorge catered our daughter's wedding reception last year. The food and service were professional and delicious. This year we booked them for our sons wedding in April. We paid the deposit and had several nice email exchanges. Last week, our son, the groom died unexpectedly. Tacos Don Jorge not only refunded the non refundable deposit, they asked which day our son's funeral service would be- they wanted to make a contribution! We can't express how overwhelmed we felt. We can't wait to be done grieving ... and when we do- we will certainly book our party with them'

They served 75 people and had a wonderful flow of food, constantly refreshing the sides and taco meat to keep guests served timely.Everyone loved the food! They made fresh tortillas and fresh chips (perfectly crispy, not too thick and salted nicely). We chose carne asada, pollo asada and baja fish tacos so everyone found a variety of tacos that they liked.Both of the fresh green and red salsas were delicious! I was considering hiring a taco truck thinking it would be cheaper and after reaching out to about 8 vendors, I chose Tacos Don Jorge. Overall, the price point per person was less with much more food for a balanced meal (3 types of tacos, rice, beans, fresh chips, fresh juice and a salad). People could make a salad with meat or make a bowl if they didn't want a taco. We had so much food leftover also!

They were very communicated and I did not have any issues reaching someone for assistance or questions.They arrived on-time to prep, Ruby was very nice and helpful. She was on top of everything. All the staff paid attention to details and instructions, I would highly recommend for future events.

Recently, we used them for my grandmother's 95 bday which had less people. We had some leftovers and was really pleased with the second day tastiness!!! I loved their strawberry drink and their shredded beef. My mom loved the pork. My grandma raved about the cactus salad. I highly recommend Tacos Don Jorge.
