The food was delicious. I took my 85-year-old mom who is not that familiar with Thai food. She's only had it a few times. She was very impressed with the dishes we had. We had the chicken wings... Incredible!! We had the pad Thai with chicken... Excellent! And we had the crying tiger steak ... Superb! We also ordered the pork spring rolls. The spring rolls were not really for us. But, I heard other people like them.

We ordered pad thai to deliver by doordash. We had to throw to the trash, couldn’t eat at all. It s not even close to pad thai . Whoever makes the dish , they mix everything it s tastes like vomit !

We were in the restaurant with Al the same night and our portions were also unusually small. Ive been coming here for several years, including when it was previous ownership and haven’t had this experience before. Perhaps there was a new chef that night?

I understand input costs are rising and restaurants have difficulty remaining afloat, but if you need to increase margins I would rather you raise prices than have me walking away hungry from a $40 meal.

With that being said every other time we’ve been here has been more than satisfactory with delicious and spicy dishes. The Tom Yum soup, Khao Soi, and drunken noodles are my favorite. Don’t go higher than a medium unless you can handle “Thai spicy”

It's rare to find a truly bad Thai restaurant, but here it is. Impossibly high prices for a literal hole in the wall storefront in a neighborhood where two different houses on the same block had six police cars between them on the scene. $5 each for Thai Iced Tea or Thai Iced Coffee. Entrees were $13.95 and up and quality was worth half of that. Larb Salad with Chicken was appetizer size lacked flavor, and I had to wait a long time, several minutes, to get limes to squeeze on it before eating. Maybe the Panang Curry with Beef would be their redemption? No...little bowl of sad curry filled with undercooked garnish carrots (almost raw), bell peppers, and an afterthought of about eight small pieces of beef at the bottom of the bowl. I was shocked. When the server/cashier (only two people working there) finally reappeared and asked how the food was, I told him. He went away. About ten minutes later, as we struggled with the carrots, he showed up with a serving of additional curry with beef in it, as it should have been originally served, which was 100% richer than the original serving. He told us the drinks were $3 each when we asked, but then charged $5 each on the check, since there are no prices on the drinks card. There was only one couple in the restaurant on a Friday night at 6:30 pm, but I didn't heed my dining partner’s hesitation. Will never return and advise you not to waste your dollars here.

Small hole in the wall. Authentic food. Portions are small, I ordered 4 different noodles to try and the take out boxes was 60 percent full. The hot was spicy. Not much meat, I ordered chicken for extra $3...I think I paid for all the chicken used in all 4 orders....not much meat.

Servicw was nice. But the restaurant looks very dirty. Bathroom looks and smells like truck stop with instructions on how to use the broken toilet handle. (Maybe fix it and clean the restaurant?)

Dirty ceilings. Broken tables. Fans on instead of air conditioning. Always make you think. I'd go to a cleaner place.

I tried the lunch special pad see ew today. Overall, it was a good experience, though I think it might have been even better with a little more than just three pieces of pork belly.

Quaint restaurant atmosphere with some of the best Thai food in town. This place, just like the Thai restaurant before these new owners took over, are some of the only places that I've been able to find authentic Thai spice and flavors in SD. The Hot Basil dish was great and so was the Tom Yum. We are used to the almost impossibly spicy food that was served here by the previous owners, where a one out of a scale of 1 to 10 would still make you sweat. These new folks have mellowed things out a bit offering mild medium or spicy. We got medium and it was manageable, but I'll probably go for spicy next time.
