As a chef for over 20 years in Sacramento, the last 4 as a chef for a food distributor. Let me tell you that this pizza is legit. Seriously. Super humble owners who are just out to sell a superior product. Quality ingredients. A high end pizza oven. Just doing everything the right way. So happy I discovered this place. A new consistent customer right here. You will not be disappointed with a pie from them.

Omg… I finally found a place that makes REAL pizza, instead of junk dough overloaded with toppings like 95% of all the other pizza places in this area! Just amazing. So happy. Thank you!! ❤️

Maybe it's just not the style of pizza I enjoy. But i was really disappointed after hearing great things and all the good reviews. Got a garlic chicken and a pepperoni. Not very flavorful and skimpy on toppings. The thin crust was the best part.

Was so good I forgot to take a photo before I started eating. The pizza cooks up on the crispy side (not burnt tho) and it’s divine. Came here on a whim after a fb marketplace meetup, absolutely devastated I live 35 minutes away from this place because this is probably the best pizza place I’ve been to in Sacramento county. 10/10 no notes. Will be looking for reasons to come back to Citrus Heights for this pizza alone!

Wow. I’ve had all the pizza in the area and this is the coolest one to go to. They have an artwork of Anthony Bourdain on the wall. An amazing fire oven that looks like it’s from the future. Great vibes. Super clean. Talked to the guy there and they are from an island off of Italy and were inspired to make this pizza. The pizza tasted like their history: rich and vibrant and fresh like the guys smile and story. Amazing. 10 out of 10. Will be back. Oh ya only 23 bucks large pepperoni.

Hands-down the best pizza I’ve ever had! Every time I visit Sacramento, 916 Pizza is an absolute must. The quality of the ingredients is incredible — you can taste every fresh, delicious component in every bite. And somehow, every time I go, it just keeps getting better, and every single pizza I’ve tried has been absolutely phenomenal. I’m determined to try them all!
The flavors are perfectly balanced, the crust is spot-on, and the ranch is next-level (coming from a self-proclaimed ranch connoisseur!). I’ve never left dissatisfied — every order has been exceptional, and I honestly can’t think of a single note for improvement.
The team behind 916 Pizza clearly puts their heart into what they do, and it shows in every pizza they make. The only reason I don’t have a photo to share is because I’m always too excited to dig in the moment I pick it up — it looks just as amazing as it tastes!

This was my third time ordering here and what inspired me to finally leave a review. This pizza is absolutely delicious, wood fired, well made and they get to you quickly. It is my favorite pizza around me at the moment and I’ve had several places. Honestly, it might just flat out be the best pizza in the Citrus Heights area. I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody! You have to try. My fav pie: pepperoni with hot honey drizzle.

This place may be unassuming on the outside but don't let that fool you, it can go toe to toe with the best pizza I've had in California. You can tell they only use high quality ingredients. The gentleman working in there was very kind and explained how their oven had just arrived recently imported from Italy. The crust was perfectly charred, minimal flop and great crisp. The freshly grated Parmesan that was added was the cherry on top. Don't miss out on the place if you're in the area, you won't regret it!

Wow! Just moved here and was hoping to find my favorite pizza! SUCCESS! Nick and Steven have a creative menu, excellent prices, and top notch service! Hot Honey Rico and Pulled Pork Pizza were amazing. Would give 10 stars!

This place is a diamond in the rough. I was blown away by the setup (WOW WHAT A COOL OVEN) Pizza was fantastic! They even shredded fresh parmasen on the pie when hot out of the oven. My only issue was why did I wait so long to try. If you are in this area you too may pass it by and think it's just another pizza place......but No! Crust is crunchy and chewy.......sauce fabulous. Top notch place and ingredients! Will be back!
