We opened the box of Pizza and the overwhelming odor of spoiled meat floored us! I called the restaurant and the guy told me there are different types of Prosciutto. So apparently they serve the spoiled type. He told me he would refund me and that didn’t happen either.

I was never a fan of pineapple on pizza - or so I thought! 916 Pizza’s Hawaiian pizza made me change my mind and do a 360 - the delicious dough and fresh ingredients with the sweet/tart pineapple bits is a treat for your tastebuds. I can’t wait to try all of the pizzas on their menu.

I would say friendly customer service, but not the best pizza. Don't get the prosciutto pizza! Yuck something was just not right.. could not eat it.. meat smelled awful and did not have healthy color. We could not chance it and had to throw it away. Owner was very kind and refunded us. Sharing so others won't order that version. If I ever crave pizza again , I'll stick to a chain that is consistent and that I trust. UPDATE - refund was not issued after they advised over the telephone that it would be. We chose this place since it was close to home and we wanted to help Out the little community they are in. We were not out to get free pizza. We called immediately as we didn't want them to use that meat on anyone else's order in hopes to prevent issues for anyone else. Most experienced restaurant owners would appreciate the info. They offered to refund when speaking to us over the phone ( we did not ask for this!) but then they never actually followed thru on THEIR offer. Why offer one thing and not follow thru ? It was a very quiet Saturday night for this business. Response from the owners since that night has been immature. I don't care about the refund at this point- which was nothing we requested but was offered by them over the phone to us. I'm posting so others in the community will be aware and hope they can avoid any similar issue. It's just a pizza - no big deal. But the big deal is the poor treatment received by owners from this situation. That doesn't go unnoticed and sadly that is what our memory of this place will be.

This pizza place deserves to be in downtown Sacramento, but I’m delighted that we have it close by Fair Oaks. Ignore the dancing bums outside, the staff is professional, the establishment is classy and the pizza is superb! We’ve had a hard time finding high end pizza around here and this place is AMAZING!!! I want to drive as many customers to this place without it getting so crowded I never get my pizza ?❤️? Eat here, it’s great!

You might miss this place just driving by but you better turn around! On the outside it's not much but this pizza is home made and high quality. The pizza is crispy on the bottom and perfectly cheesy when you pull it apart. The flavor from this pizza is why I keep going back. The service was also great I walked in and was immediately greeted. I was early and the man at the front was very polite and welcoming. Overall I would go back because the pizza is that good.

I meant to come try it for a while since my friend has been telling me about that pizza place. They make gourmet pizzas. We shared many pies among friends. We tried the 916 long pizza fresco (thin crust yet with that great chewiness that reminds me pizzas I had back in France! Fresh burrata mozzarella spread on top of their homemade marinara. (Not that canned stuffed you get at other places). The chicken garlic was my other favorite. Took me back home as it reminded a little bit of a Tarte flambée (Alsatian pie) Flavors explosion with some grilled onions and a white sauce and grilled onions. And the Sacrilegious Hawaiian pizza was worth adding pineapples on a pizza pie lol. Perfect balance of goodness flavors. This is a family "bros" business. Chatted with them a little bit after dinner: They do it all. Prices are good for the caliber of pies you get! From pizza conception, service and the place has a great vibe! Go support your local pizza bros They defined earned my business.

Sooo good. Just had my daughters pick up a margherita pizza and barely half of it made it home. It was that good! Looks like we're gonna have to order another ; )

We love pizza and are always looking to try new places. We're pretty picky about our pies. We tried 916 Pizza for the first time tonight and were not disappointed. The pizza sauce is really good and the crust was on point. We will definitely be back!
