Was there with several of my girl friends today and had the most wonderful Chinese lunch! We had the egg drop soup, sesame chicken, sweet & sour pork, stir fried beef, pork pot stickers, bokchoy with 2kinds of mushrooms, walnut shrimp, fried rice, fried chowmein, stir fried white fish with veggies, and fried mini buns with red bean paste. Everything was very authentic Chinese food, meaning it wasn't "Americanized" in my opinion. The sweet & sour pork was not fluorescent red in color nor artificially sweet and the pork was crispy on the outside and tender in the inside and very tasty! Nothing seemed "heavy" with the thick layer of coating. All the vegetables were cooked right, not being almost raw, but just right. Plus the vegetables were very fresh! Highly recommend China House!

I've been coming here since I was a little kid. The workers know me and my family by name and make us feel like part of their family here. The food never disappoints always a very nice comfort food for whenever it's cold outside. The inside is always clean and well kept the murials on the wall are beautiful all an all it's the best Chinese restaurant around.

Very expensive and bad food. The website posts prices that are 1/4 of actual cost. I got a combo plate for dinner and an order of crab and cheese wontons, and they charged close to $40!! Had I received full à la cart entree amounts for each of the items, then that would be an ok amount, but for combo plate amounts, that is absolutely absurd. The wontons were good, but the sweet-and-sour chicken was very tough, and the chow-mein was bland. I threw out most of it, and I don't think I've ever thrown out Chinese food leftovers. The staff were friendly, which is why I gave two stars instead of zero

I love this place! Everyone is always so nice each time we go. I love the meals for 2! Grew up going to China House in Folsom and this one reminds me a lot of that one.
First off, the beef and broccoli we ordered was delicious. However, that was the only things that was good. We ordered a simple fried rice but it was very stale and tasted bad. The orange chicken was hard and chewy. Ended up paying $80 for food that wasn't good. They use to have good food but now I feel like the quality went down.
