Just like I remembered from childhood. Fresh Strawberry cream cake with almonds. We use to go to this bakery all the time as kids and didn't know it was still around. The cake was not very sweet and just perfect. Really wanted butterfly cookies but were sold out. Only thing I didn't like was they don't answer their phones. Wasn't sure if they were open and was calling to check. No answer.
My mom has been looking for the type of cakes at this bakery.Creates for so very long! She was so beyond happy to buy one of her favorite cakes. They are so delicious, fresh, the\nCake itself is so light & moist. And the whipped cream is absolutely beyond delicious. Much better than buttercream. And the fresh almond slivers along the side , just hop off this delicious creation. Now let's talk about the strawberries inside. Absolutely fresh, sweet and beyond delicious....
My family has been coming here well over 35 years ( in fact since they 1st opened )….We still continue to get my mothers birthday cake here ~ the only difference is we drive in from Phoenix ~ we bag it and place it on ice in a ice chest ~ This year she will get it a few days earlier. Happy 81st Birthday ?
