Half & Half Tea Express Gale

I Normally stop here after or before my costco run. This time I took one to go for my wife. Unfortunately they gave me the wrong order, or it was a new employee. I called after my wife tasted it, I spoke to Samantha, she said drive 20 minutes back and I'll give a new one . This one be a 40 min total drive, I requested a replacement on my next Costco run as many establishments would agree and comply with a reasonable request.
But Samantha said that is not their policy. I am now forced to throw this one away and see 7 dollars go down the drain. Since they don't value their customers.
I will not purchase nothing from this establishment in the future.

No reason to take almost 15 minutes to make two drinks with one only order ahead of me when walking in. The workers on 6/21 at 9:30pm are extremely slow for seemingly no reason

This place has the best boba pearls, I've been coming here for years. They never disappoint. I've never ordered something I didn't like. Must visit when I come down in that area.

Iconic for a reason! 😋🧋

The menu offers a vast range of drinks and flavors to choose from. I highly recommend, however, picking from their Top 10 menu and getting the iconic #1 Iced Milk Drink with caramel, pudding, and honey boba! It is super tasty, but almost everything on the top 10 menu is spectacular.

* Matcha Au Lait with Honey Boba: 8/10 - nice and subtle matcha flavor
* Boba (Topping) - 7/10 - maybe it was an off-day but boba was on the harder side

I accidentally ordered the wrong drink, but the worker was nice and was willing to remake me the right one for a small charge of $0.96! The interior is quite small so the chairs and couch are really just for people waiting to pick up their drinks. They offer tables to sit at outside where you can enjoy your drinks. The place is located in the Seasons Place plaza so parking can get difficult at peak times.

This store was doing great business over a decade ago, but now they even charge extra for no ice. Unbelievable.

Nice friendly staff and big sized drinks

I ordered Duoduo Green without sugar, but I got a cup of pure green tea?Their explanation was that Duoduo equals sugar! ! ! ! Is there a cultural barrier? I thought there would be no problems with Taiwanese stores?

They don’t like credit card payments

They charge 3.5% if you use a credit card. If you use cash and your total is over $100, they only have $5 in change. Don’t order by number because the staff said they don’t know the menu by number. They don’t even bother to look at the menu. If you call to order ahead, they will tell you about their promotion. You get one free drink upgrade to a large, but it’s mostly more ice anyway. They don’t give you a bag, so bring your own, or they will charge you for one. The staff often have an unfriendly attitude when giving you your drink. If you ask for a bag, they give you a funny look and tell you there’s a charge for it. No wonder their business has been declining. There are many places to choose from for better service—you are not the only option. PS-I post the manu here so remember their drink by name. If you help friends or co-workers buying drinks. Remember to write them all down by the name NOT number becuase their staff don’t know them by number. You will look embarrassed when you have to go back to look for the name.

You can control the sugar. There are many menus, so it would be good to check in advance and eat. If you only put half the sugar, it would be a little disappointing. I recommend eating it at 75%. There are many good seats outside, so I recommend coming with your family in the evening when it is cool. There are palm trees and the atmosphere of the shopping complex here is good.

Sunday 7/7/24 Ice cold drinks at Half & Half Tea Express Gale in City of Industry with my sister. Getting ice tea and smoothie to enjoy on a warm sunny day. So refreshing and thirsty quenching!!!
