Memorable first time experience eating at a Mongolian restaurant. the hot pot experience was very unique & novel for me. I found the idea of selecting your uncooked proteins, carbs (e.g noodles) & vegetables, selecting your broth (up to 2) & then cooking them right at your table, very intriguing & different. The staff are very nice & we're ready to explain & walk me through the process as a first timer. The food is delicious & had a lot of variety to choose from for a very varied experience. Tried the all you can eat option but got a happy hour discount. Ambience & decor looked very niche & classy. Plenty of parking spots available to park. Reservations are required for groups but none required if you are a party of one. Plan to arrive 30 mins before closing time to get the best full experience.

I don’t even know where to start this was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time at Happy Lamb Hot Pot.
We came in as a party of 10 with our family, and right off the bat the service was off. We politely asked to sit at a separate table due to a shellfish allergy, and instead of accommodating us like any competent restaurant should, the server started questioning what kind of allergy it was—as if that’s something to debate. Meanwhile, the restaurant was practically empty. There was zero reason to make it difficult.
It somehow got worse from there. Not even 10 minutes into eating, the servers kept coming back asking if we were done. We had barely started. It felt like we were being rushed out the entire time for no reason.
Then came the check an absolute disaster. Since we were at separate tables, we asked for separate bills. The server repeatedly said it “couldn’t be done,” which is ridiculous. I work in a restaurant and could literally see the POS options for splitting payments and moving checks. Instead of even trying or asking for help, she scoffed, gave attitude, and kept repeating that she couldn’t do it. It was lazy and unprofessional.
On top of all that, the food bar is a cross-contamination nightmare. Utensils were not being properly sanitized or maintained. I ended up breaking out in hives after eating, which is completely unacceptable and honestly concerning from a health standpoint.
Between the rude attitude, lack of basic service skills, and questionable food safety, this place is a mess. I will absolutely be reporting this to the health inspector.
Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.

Great for big parties. Dining room is spacious with plenty of space for large parties. (We came as a party of 19 and were able to be seated together.) the meats are cut fresh, beautifully presented and impressive, comes out quick and in rapid pace. There’s a variety of veggies and cooked foods for a range of tastes. Drinks are on fountain and everyone gets a cup. Great service.
