Got the apple cinnamon empanadas and they were not bad. Not too sweet and the outside was nice and crunchy. The apples inside still had a little crunch to it which was good. Would eat them again.

Oh my gosh- this place is a hidden treasure! The atmosphere is so cute and inviting! We bought two chicken and two beef empanadas and my husband is already talking about going back to try other fillings! This place is a keeper!!! We can’t wait to go back!

I was so excited to try Josephine’s empanadas after seeing a video circulating online so we purchased two dozen empanadas from this location and there was a thick black hair in the middle of the first one we cut into, sad to say but my family refused to eat the rest after that so wasted money, and food because someone was not careful in the process of making these!

Really good mini Filipino empanadas. The fillings are very tasty and compliments the crispy pie shell. The bibingkas are good too especially the ube. They give me a free empanada though it was a mistake from me. It’s a nice and sweet gesture from them. I’m coming back!

I recently ordered from Josephine’s Special Empanadas and was thoroughly impressed. I tried a half dozen beef and a half dozen mushroom empanadas, and both were fantastic. The beef was perfectly seasoned, and the mushroom filling had a rich, savory flavor. The crust was golden and flaky, adding a perfect balance to the fillings. I also ordered the lumpia, which was crispy and delicious, with a great mix of flavors. Overall, the food was fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic, well-made empanadas and lumpia!

This Industry location has a greater selection of empanadas than the West Covina location. Compared to another empanada spot I went to recently, I like how these are more "bite-sized" empanadas and still super filling.

On average, people order "two to a dozen" empanadas so I tried three. Chicken, beef, and mushroom empanadas. That beef empanada was like biting into a perfect scrumptious beef pot pie. I bought another for the road! Mushroom was not overpowering and earth-y, which is a common descriptor for mushrooms that gets tossed around.

The chicken fajita was good, too, but I can see myself buying a dozen of the beef empanadas! Everything was warm and not too flaky and fit in my hands great.

Dietary restrictions: Not every empanada is savory. There are some sweet desert types like peach mango pineapple. There's also other savory types like mushroom.

Parking: Ample parking, plenty of spaces.

My first time trying empanadas, it is excellent. Flavour and texture from the filling to the shell are perfectly blended. The size is easy to eat, they are freshly made and baked, not from frozen. It is perfect for quick breakfast in office with my tea. Definitely will buy more for breakfast.

The bread of the empanada is mildly sweet and palatable to everybody. The place is neat and organized. I like that every table has an antibacterial gel. I came for the tuna empanada and liked the beef flavor the most. On weekends, they have arroz caldo and Filipino champurado.

Vegetarian options: Mushroom and cream and corn and cream for vegetarians.
