My boyfriend and I ate here on our first date. We've been regulars ever since, and the staff is extremely kind to us whenever we visit and dine here! We have tried most of their menu, but we always get the chicken katsu and matcha green tea, and they always taste delicious!

This place has THE best katsu I’ve ever had in my life. Such a shame that the mall isn’t more busy to give them more business. Definitely worth the drive to eat there food!

This place makes me feel like I’m a KING. Top tier food quality, presentation, and service (love their chicken Katsu box). If you ever go by puente hills mall, you need to try this place. I honestly don’t how they don’t have a restaurant chain. Because they should. 10/10.

The food was good... until I saw one of the workers not wearing gloves and touching the uncooked meat directly with his hands. I got sick later in the day. I believe this is a serious food handling violation.

Great service and tasty food. If you are in the mall or in the area, stop by and support this business. Portions are pretty large too!
The chicken katsu was amazing, reminded of my favorite place I used to get if from before it closed. The staff were super nice!I really hope this place can stay and last

At first, I was worried about what it would be like to be in a deserted food court in an abandoned shopping mall. Hawaiian Japanese food is being developed, and I ordered a handful of cutlet. The cutlet is thin and crispy, and when you add the sauce, it tastes like a sauce cutlet bowl. It's interesting because you can feel the different culture of Japanese food.
Katsu aka fried chicken is good. The lady behind the counter was very nice. The menu is limited. The mall around it is dying.
The place has the best katsu I had in the United States. The katus is crunchy and yet not hard. It is crunchy to bite and then the meat is actually soft. It's so good! I can't say enough good things. Just go and try it. You won't regret it at all.
This place really goes the extra mile and pays attention to the details. Always good to have a nice well done food. I think it's worth a try for fried pork.
Glad there's a katsu place near me now. A delicious experience!
