We went to eat there about a week ago, we tried the carne asada and the fajitas plate, the portions were small, not a good value for the price they charge. The margaritas were watery, tasted like lemonades!! The bathrooms were filthy and the service was just average. Not worth coming back!!!

It is like all you can eat tacos at this price. First time at this Kalaveras in Puente Hills. It's very family oriented. Everyone accommodating and incredibly quick service. Atmosphere was calm. The food was extremely tasty! Dragon sushi roll was so, so, so delicious ???. I also had a salmon taco and shrimp tacos... those were also good. ?. I had the passion fruit agua fresca. I have to say that was too sweet for my taste. Other than that, we were pleased. ?We will definitely be back again!

I went to brunch with my partner on Sunday. To be honest, I wasn't a fan of the tacos. I tried better tacos elsewhere. The aguachile hit right on the spot. I ordered a michelada, and it was pretty good. The chef was super sweet and helpful. The ambiance was good, except I wish they would have played some rock en español to make the morning popping. There's a food station if you have children, a station for an egg omelet and chilaquile station. The chile relleno is worth eating. Make sure you go on an empty stomach to try the different foods. The staff were nice and chatty.Parking: You can park across the restaurant if you can't find parking inside.Kid-friendliness: Kid station for children to eat.
I love this place, unfortunately on Feb 29th I had called to see what time the kitchen closed the male who answered the phone said last call for food is 11:15pm and 11:30 for alcohol. It was a 30 min drive for them to tell me the kitchen had been closed for 20 min. I told the bartender I had called and what they said, so he was trying to help me get the food. The manager in charge didn't even bother to come apologize for the misunderstanding. I had ordered a flan and tacos ....they said the flan they can do but not the tacos cause they put everything away. I've never been this disappointed. They handled the issue in a poorly manner. I managed a restaurant/bar, and I would've at least comp the flan for their mistake.

The problem was they didn't know anything about the open table rewards certificate and couldn't honor it. They offered a desert but we didn't need it. The music was very loud and the video's on the TV are not family friendly. How can you bring children or some adults to watch half naked ladies dancing and “humphing” on the video at dinner hour?? Maybe at later night but not at 7:00pm! The food was good and now that they take reservations is a plus

I went there for the Sunday brunch which I was very impressed with. They make fresh omelettes and chilaquiles upon request. They have a variety of food and they give you homemade tortillas.
