Food tastes good, but had to wait for over thirty minutes to get all three dishes of our food. That’s too long of a wait, especially when the fried rice came out last and there weren’t many customers inside the restaurant. I didn’t appreciate they kept lying that the fried rice would be out soon but in fact it took thirty minutes to cook. Ambiance was tarnished when I heard the female waitress nagged about how little tip she received from her customers. That was plain wrong and she felt entitled to more tips?

Just checked out the menu and you will know it's authentic shanghainese cuisine. Prices are reasonable, the taste is amazing. The place is quite small, they don't take reservations. I always like to go a little before dinner time, If you don't want wait. I noticed they do a lot of takeouts. My favorites are sea cucumber, eel, and stir fry rice cake with cabbage... Also the brace pork it's amazing.

A very few that are still left as a true authentic shanghanes style restaurant in southern california. The 2 are absolutely wonderful. What the place in a very depressed location? I wish the restaurant are in a better setting, but the food is the best

The first time I ordered their takeaway, I ordered Shanghai pork belly and pearl shrimp. Shanghainese people said it was good after eating it! And it’s very cost-effective, with ample portions and affordable prices??

It's very delicious. This time, I bought the special peach shrimp and Shanghai red yakiniku as takeout and had them at home. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and had a perfect taste and texture. On the other hand, the Shanghai red yakiniku had a wonderfully balanced seasoning that allowed you to enjoy the taste and aroma of the ingredients, despite its apparent dark color. Next time, I would like to sit down and enjoy it.

Unbelievable, They are still using this type of disposable packaging, and there's a burnt hole on it. I noticed it only after having had quite a bit of the meal. It was a terrible experience. The hygiene awareness at the restaurant is concerning. They only provided a basic refund, and there wasn't even an apology.

Not fancy, just good home style Shanghainese cooking at reasonable prices. None of the dishes we ordered had any filler, just like how my family would make it at home. Yum!
