Uno Tre Otto

As good as Italian food I have ever had (and I love Italian!) The dinning room is such a unique setting, you really feel like you are in another world. Cozy and small, but you do not feel crowded. The food was incredible, from bread, to salad, to pork chops to pasta. While they have a strong wine selection, the cocktails are the drink headline. When you are done with all of that, do not skip dessert (try the budino).

My mom & I really wanted to try this place having seen it on Instagram. Let me tell you, WE LOVED EVERYTHING! It was an awesome experience, everyone was friendly & kind, & the food was DELICIOUS. I personally loved that their menu changes every day depending on what is in season & such. We will be back to try more! I highly recommend this place if you're a "Foodie" like my mom & I.

The seating given to us was horrendous. There was a highly used cabinet drawer right behind my date's head that every time someone order a cocktail, or glassware was being put away in the restaurant, a waitress had to come to our table, reach over her head, open it slightly to not hit her. It appears to be a mechanism that transports drinks up and down from the bar upstairs hidden conspicuously on the wall. We Literally sat inches from that trafficked area. This happened for our entire dinner. I could hear the toilets flushing and stench coming from the restroom as I ate. It was disgusting. It is cramped inside to where I got bumped into a couple of times by patrons going to the restroom. There was no room to change tables. Not a good experience at all. A helpful tip, remove the table that is placed by the bar cabinet and restroom entrance. Horrible placement.

We had another lovely experience at Uno Tre Otto restaurant. Excellent service, delicious food, cozy and rustic ambience! We definitely will be back.

Great seasonal menu where everything is very fresh and thoughtfully paired with herbs, sauces and fresh produce. Menu changes frequently to accommodate the locally sourced ingredients. Great ambience and music selection. Servers were knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations (some of the menu descriptions were a bit vague). Plates are small so we ordered a selection of options and ate family-style. Great choice if you love great food.

Everything was on point from the minute we walked in until the minute we left. We sat up on the patio and it was beautiful and they had heaters to compensate for the weather getting a little chilly later in the night. Food was delectable, cocktails were delicious, and service was outstanding. Will keep coming back to one of our favorite spots. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Went with my wife. Everything from drinks to appetizers to our main course and even dessert were great. Wife had the port chop and it was amazingly tender and moist. I had the steak and it was perfect. Great time.

Great food,Pity the service was challenged .The tables are a bit close but that is th concept as some are communal seating.To order wines is a bit difficult as they are all European wines,luckily I was familiar with the varietals from Italy and France.A bit pricy .The cocktails are delicious.

The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. I can't wait to go back, I highly recommend eating here. Every dish was delicious with so much flavor.

Food and service was great. I sat at a table where the back of my head was a drink delivery station from the bartenders above and the station cover kept hitting my head. My dinner was disrupted multiple times during the meal because a waiter had to reach behind my head to grab drinks. There were also times where the drink station cover wasn't closed properly and my head hit the cover corner when I sat up straight. Why people are sat there is perplexing.

Our experience at Uno Tre Otto is always so great! Service, food and ambiance is the best In claremont. We started with the bread, butter, salad and fried cheese balls! We shared the steak and pasta with crab. Sorry don't know the names of the dishes. But honestly it's our very favorite restaurant

The main "dining room" attached to the kitchen is very small. The tables are not private except for one two top and one four top. They are community tables, and you're seated with random strangers, with very little room to be comfortable while eating. The service was okay and our server, Martin, was great. There is a 2 hour time limit on your meal time, and considering the slow timing of the meal service, I felt that was unrealistic. The food was good, however, the seasonal variety on the menu was very limited. It was very loud, so it was difficult to carry on a conversation across the table without raising your voice to be heard. The portions were on the smaller size, and pricey. My friend ordered a martini and it came in an aperitif glass, and it was $15. We will not return, nor recommend, unfortunately.
