10 stars! The best sandwiches in all of CC County are made here! The staff is very friendly and upbeat- you can tell the crew absolutely love their jobs and! the "decor" in the shop is pretty great! The sandwiches are pretty pricey, but absolutely worth the cost!Oh! And meatball parm.

I was up in Clayton visiting my buddy "Doc" who works at Canesa's. I went there for the second time and again, this place did not disappoint! Not only is the atmosphere hilariously irreverent, but the sandwiches are FANTASTIC. I stand by my original claim that this is the best sandwich shop I have EVER eaten in!! If your passing through the very small town of Clayton, be sure to add Canesa's to your list of "must" visits.
I'm a sprouts and avocado kind of gal but Canesa's forever changed me. The bread, the meats, the cheeses the perfection of proportioning it all is an art. I love everything here. The owner's are fabulous and really just make this place everything it is.

I got a sandwich there today. I ordered a pastrami. No Russian dressing, or 1000 Island dressing is offered. Just plain old mustard with a pickle and a couple of onion slices and Swiss cheese. The pastrami was so dry and overcooked. Very boring and awful. To top it off, I was almost done with 1/2 of the sandwich, and I found a hair in my sandwich. I threw the rest of it away. What a waste of $15.00!Never going back again.

The best sandwiches around!!! The bread is AMAZING!!! The Cool Hand Luke [pastrami] is my favorite but the meatball is a close second. Every person I have told about this place has raved about their sandwiches. There is a ton of meat & the cuts are very lean. You wont be disappointed!!!
