Sad to report risotto was crunchy. Salad came out after entree, which we asked to be canceled when the meal came. High school server didn't care and said she put it in before meal. Made us feel bad and uncomfortable, asked if we wanted to take it off the bill instead of just offering to do it. This has been our anniversary tradition to go to Moresis. Sadly we will probably go somewhere else. Of course she charged us for the salad.

The place was nice, but the rooms they put us in was freezing cold. So, the room was the entrance to an office, so staff was constantly coming in and out making the experience a bit less enjoyable. The food was good, but got cold really quick. Our waitress was really nice. Not the absolute best quality of meat, but not bad at all.

The only reason for the lack of 5 stars is because the sides were not hot and the baked potato was over cooked. The salad we shared was fabulous, as was the meat.

Top shelf, as usual. Sorry I missed Ed on the trip. He takes the five stars to six, or at least five and a half. 😁

Very nice and friendly staff, good food and generous amount. Their special menus comes with beer or wine and soup or salad. I loved the fish and chips. Big portion and delicious fish. Wine was good too

Morrsi's is a great local hidden gem. My wife and I have been going here for years. They have a great menu with reasonable prices.

The food was excellent. The only negative experience was being told by the hostess that we had until 7:30pm to eat because they had another reservation. I've never been told anything like that before but it never ended up being an issue.

Took a first date there. Neither of us had been before. Had a reservation, and we seated promptly. Food was prepared as ordered, and the atmosphere was cozy. We closed the place down, 1.5 hours after closing. The bartender had no problem with us just enjoying coffee and talking. I would definitely recommend and will return.

Having lived in Clayton for 16 years, I can confidently say that Moresi's Chophouse holds a special place in our historic, beautiful and romantic town. The owner, Ed, truly knows how to run a business and has become a friend over the years.

Every dining experience at Moresi's Chophouse has been exceptional. The ambiance rivals that of a fine dining establishment, making it perfect for a special night out or a casual dinner with friends. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring we have everything we need. Ed often stops by our table, adding a personal touch to our visits.

For those looking to elevate their dining experience, I highly recommend sitting out on the deck during our summer concerts in the park. The view of Mount Diablo is breathtaking and adds a romantic touch to your meal.

Moresi's Chophouse is a fantastic spot for anyone seeking a high-quality meal in a cozy, charming, and delightful setting.
