“Best hot dogs ever! My wife had the all beef bacon wrapped dog with sauerkraut. These folks do it right… deep frying the whole thing so the bacon is crisp and not floppy. Excellent quality , taste and service. I had the Cajun dog. Deliciously spicy but not too hot. Perfect balance of authentic seasonings. Just awesome. Try these guys if you haven’t already. A worthwhile treat for the tastebuds!“

“I can't bring myself to give a fast food place five stars, so my ceiling is four. In recent years, i've moved from J. in the B. to Carl's Jr as my first go-to fast food restaurant because it seems Carl's has put in the work to improve their menu and their food quality. The store in Clearlake across from the new Starbucks particularly. I like their burgers and the buns seem full and fresh along with plenty of lettuce tomato onion & pickle. It all starts with a good quality bun as the first thing that hits your mouth. But the real proof of the quality is the meat, of course. They moved to a better quality beef and I don't feel sick after eating them like I do at Mac's. One hot summer day I walked in and on the counter was a big red bin full of ice and genuine Coco Cola in the glass bottles. It took a bottle opener to open them. Someone remembered how good it used to be and took the time to recreate that feeling.
I was surprised at the changes that Carl's Jr has made and have had some good meals since I discovered this.“

“One of the best "hole in the wall" places I've been. My exceptionally picky husband loves the Brunch Burger, I love the Tri-Tip sandwich and artichoke dip. The waitress is super friendly, it's got a decent bar selection and we were able to have our pup with us out on the patio. Absolutely worth a stop.“

“We needed some quick Sunday grub, ordered 3 medium pizzas, a salad and the garlic twists. Great pizza, not just for Clearlake, but on is own! Best ranch I've had in a while! Wife said the salad was phenomenal as well. The garlic sticks we're excellent, they use a bread I've never had as a garlic twist, and it was surprising, but tasty. Only criticism would be the garlic sticks are a touch too chewy.“
