Was very surprised by the inside. Clean bright. Good food. It was our first time there, it will not be our last.Went here the other night for a friend's birthday dinner. The service was top notch. Waiter was right there, took our drink order and was right back with them. Dinner came out quickly, it was hot. It was good, the atmosphere was nice. After dinner we were not rushed to leave, mind you we ate at a table in the bar. We will be back again.
Come check out Howards Grotto and meet the owner himself at the bar. This steakhouse has been around for decades and has a nice cozy feel when you enter inside. Howard, the owner, is usually working at the bar and preparing drinks for his regulars. There is a good amount of seating at the bar and tables if you prefer. Howard loves to interact, and really it just creates a welcoming experience. The food here is tasty and there is an extensive menu to choose from.

Not a bad little relative hole in the wall spot. Looks as if it opens up around dinner time, due to a larger space beyond the bar, more for larger parties and/or dinner service. Value for the money was good. Food was above average, interior was comfortable although not the most updated or refreshed, but the service from the bartender/host/service was top tier.
