Spent four hours with Tim discussing nearly every aspect of the tasting and theSonoma County wine industry. His forty years of experience is truly fascinating. Great wines.
I'd give Bobdog Wines 11 stars if I could. First, it's a gorgeous place... about 2000 feet above the floor of the Alexander Valley, the highest winery by elevation in Sonoma County. Second, Tim, the owner, carved out two hours for my wife and me during harvest/crush week, a generous accommodation beyond measure. He gave us the ultimate, consummate and fun lesson in tasting red wines. We will never, ever forget Tim or our experience at Bobdog Wines.
We didn't end up going to Bobdog winery as they were in their crushing phase of the season but he gave us a great recommendation to J Rickards which was an awesome experience for the afternoon! 10/10 on the recommendation!
