William Gordon Winery Winery •
27800 River Rd, Cloverdale

“Absolutely an amazing experience and best way to start off our week in the Alexander Valley. We weren't sure whether William's wines and hospitality was normal for the region so we waited until our week's journey concluded before writing this review. William Gordon was by far superior to any other establishments we visited this week and that includes both high end and local mom and pop vineyards. This has to be on your bucket list of experiences when you visit the region!“

BobDog Wines Winery •
31955 Pine Mountain Rd, Cloverdale

“Had such a great time visiting BobDog Winery! Tim, the owner, makes sure each tour is personalized and sits with you to teach you about the wine making process. He also curates a very informative tasting that helps you analyze the wines and get in touch with all of your senses when tasting. This was a much more intimate and educational tasting than other wineries in the area will provide. Not to mention Tim was very kind and funny so we had a blast the whole time. The ride up to his place is a bit of a trek but the views are 100% worth it. 10/10 recommend booking a tour here if you’re looking for a unique Sonoma experience.“

Asti Winery Winery •
26150 Asti Rd, Cloverdale

“Asti Winery is the most beautiful winery I have ever been to. My dad's worked there for 40+ years so I pretty much grew up there. It's not open to the public, so good luck getting in. If some how you do, you will not be disappointed.“

Fritz Underground Winery Wineries • $$
24691 Dutcher Creek Rd, Cloverdale

“What a charming winery to visit! And the cool, underground cellar, perfect for a tour on a hot NorCal day! The tastings are fun and personable with the most charming of hosts. The location is of course spectacular, as the family built into the side of an elevation, and the view overlooks the winery's water reservoir and vineyards. I didn't try much of the food while we were there, but the menu looked lovely and you can bet, if weddings and receptions take place there, the winery can support delicious foods that compliment their wine selections. This winery is a personal treat to visit when taking visitors and guests on a 'wine county' tour, since the naturally cooled interiors are perfect for me, the forest-dwelling nocturnal that I am. Bon appétit!“

Bella Vineyards & Wine Caves Wineries • $$
9711 W Dry Creek Rd, Healdsburg - 7.15 miles

“We definitely got the royal treatment. Ryan did our tasting & we got to learn so much about how the wines were made & about the winery itself. They put a lot of love into what they do. I've done two tastings with Bella and the wines are really nice. Our group of 6 all LOVED the Essence 2022. We tried Ten Acres Pinot Noir and a few different Zinfandel. All the wines were tasty. The whole party had such a great experience chatting with Ryan and learning about the process. Highly recommend visiting the winery. They are kid friendly too.“

Clos du Bois Wineries • $$
19410 Geyserville Ave, Geyserville - 11.22 miles

“This visit was bittersweet. Our first visit to this winery was in 1988. Lots of good memories. Now they are being bought so the tasting room will be closed. So sad. Michaela poured their wonderful wine for us and we talked about their long history. We will miss you all.“

Ramazzotti Wines Wineries • $$
21015 Geyserville Ave, Geyserville - 9.18 miles

“We LOVE Ramazzotti Wines! We first tried their Raffinto red at a local bar, Spirt Bar in Hotel Healdsburg. We were passing through Geyserville one Sunday Funday and decided to check out their downtown Geyserville tasting room. Marie served us, and in true Italian fashion, made us feel like family! We tasted our way through many of their wines and became members on the spot. Our favorite wines so far:*Raffinto 2020: "a Sonoma County red wine produced in the style of a Super Tuscan," a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Cab Franc*Sangiovese 2020*Regale Reserve 2017: "a unique Bordeaux-style blend from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc then aged for thirty months in new French oak barrels."We also tasted and purchased:*Lacrima di La Torre 2021 - excited to open a bottle of this unique wine soon to re-experience it *Rapport dessert wine 2013*olive oilNOTE: We just found out that the tasting room is temporarily closed as they look for a new space. When they do reopen, if you like Italian varietals and Italian hospitality, I recommend a visit. Cin Cin!“

Cast Wines Winery • $$
8500 Dry Creek Rd, Geyserville - 6.85 miles

“By far our favorite experience in Dry Creek! We visited on a cold and misty January Wednesday late morning for a very special birthday. We were greeted by Jacob with a saber and a bottle of sparkling. He taught the birthday girl to saber a bottle and we relaxed into a beautiful tasting. We sat in the Library while Jacob led our tasting with ample space for us to visit. We enjoyed our wines with a charcuterie board and then toured the grounds with Jacob. The visit was a perfect blend of tasting, touring, and education. And we were visited bu Duke, the cutest and friendliest winery dog. I can imagine it gets very busy at the height of season however our quiet visit was just what we wanted! Thanks Jacob!“

Frick Winery Winery •
23072 Walling Rd, Geyserville - 7.23 miles

“This place is hidden gem off the beaten path, but let that discourage you. First once you arrive here, you will greeted with 360 degrees vineyard view on rolling hills. It is very serene and immersive. Their wines are unique which I never tasted before. Not only that I bet you might not see other winery like this one where the owner (Bill Frick) of the winery manages whole vineyard and wine making operation single handedly. Not only that, you will be greeted and served by himself. Wines were well balanced and perfect for my palate. I would recommend anyone this place in a heartbeat, you won’t be disappointed!“

Kokomo Winery - Dry Creek Valley Winery •
4791 Dry Creek Rd, Healdsburg - 10.17 miles

“After visiting several wineries in Sonoma County, I luckily found Kokomo. Although they don't have a chateau or a villa, they have my new favorite wines in all of Sonoma. Exceptional Chardonnay, Petite Sirah, Malbec, Cab, etc. I joined their wine club and have enjoyed several trips since, each with wonderful hosts, new wines and delightful memories.“
