“What a spectacular winery! Cheryl was so hospitable and made our visit to Laujor so warm and welcoming. We truly enjoyed tasting a selection of 5 really refined wines while sitting outside overlooking their glorious vineyard and the stunning views of the mountains. We learned so much from Cheryl about the grapes and their winery and wine making. They are truly passionate about what they do and put out am excellent product. We purchased some wines to take home and also so truly funny holiday gifts inntheir gift shop. A very enjoyable afternoon.“
“Hidden gem! Fantastic experience owner spent a lot of time with us explaining his vineyard and olive trees. Awesome one on one attention. Don’t miss this place! No tasting fees (if that is a concern) and discount for 6 bottles or more. Great wine and olive oil.“
“I'd give Bobdog Wines 11 stars if I could. First, it's a gorgeous place... about 2000 feet above the floor of the Alexander Valley, the highest winery by elevation in Sonoma County. Second, Tim, the owner, carved out two hours for my wife and me during harvest/crush week, a generous accommodation beyond measure. He gave us the ultimate, consummate and fun lesson in tasting red wines. We will never, ever forget Tim or our experience at Bobdog Wines.“
“I was fortunate that I had time to visit the Olaf Cellars vineyard during my brief visit to see family before heading back up to Washington state. I bought 2 of their wines; one for my Uncle, and one for my father. The vineyard itself is a scenic respite, even while enduring the unyielding midday sun. The location is conveniently located away from the ambience of nearby roads, with easy access, and clear signage to the location of the Olaf Cellars property. The small store on the premises accepts cash and card, offers a variety of quality wines dated between several years, and even sells locally made handcrafted jewelry by the Olaf family.I've tried my fair share of wine across Europe, and parts of the US, and I believe it's a fair statement to say this location does not sacrifice quality. It is easily one of the finest wines I've had from California, and the price per bottle was more than worth what I paid. This is the vineyard worth visiting if you are in Lake County. Consider calling ahead if you decide to go.The short version:A+ grade wine, good cost, and beautiful location. Check them out.“
“We drove up to Mt Konocti winery this morning. As we approved the tasting room, a woman, getting out of her car, called over to us, asking if she could help us. We asked about the tasting, and she told us that while were doing appointment only, she could set up a tasting for us. Susan have is samples of eight wines to taste. We ended up buying a tasty Sauvignon Blanc and a late harvest Sauvignon Blanc. We enjoyed tasting the other wines but are a on budget..“
