What a great visit. Dennis was such a great host showing us the property and a little excursion to the vineyard. Enjoyed their Pinots, Cab and Primitivo. Luckily it was father's day so I could justify my purchases. Oh, make sure you taste their olive 🫒 oil and buy some. Cheers! I will be back.
Beautiful grounds and tasting room. Solid wines. What made the visit was Abbey, who hosted our tasting. Was in the area with my wife and in laws for a wedding weekend and dropped by Trione for a walk in. Abbey was incredibly friendly and helpful.
I’ve toured cellar doors across Tuscany, Burgundy, Patagonia and the Barossa Valley and this was one of the most relaxed and welcoming tastings yet. Abbey is a treasure and asset to Trione. They are lucky to have her.
Great experience! Sauvignon blanc and Primitivo like no other. We also loved the seating area outside to complement the wonderful experience of wine tasting.

Trione Vineyards and Winery in Alexander Valley is a hidden gem with a lovely tasting room and friendly staff. The property is surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills, with an amazing event center in a stone building. The tasting experience is very accommodating and knowledgeable, with bonus olive oil and bread sampling—the olive oil is out of this world delicious. Visitors can sit upstairs on the veranda and enjoy an amazing view while tasting a great variety of wines, including Rose, Sav Blanc, Chardonnay, Red Blend, and a Cab. The staff, like Maricela, are very knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the wines they pour, even finding a Zinfandel to open for guests. The winery also offers a small tour of the production facility and the historic building behind the winery, which is rich in history. The wines are all very good—there wasn't a wine anyone didn't care for—and the olive oil is phenomenal. The friendly sommeliers and the cheese cracker platter add to the enjoyable experience. Despite rainy weather, visitors have a beautiful and intimate time, making it a must-visit stop in the area, especially with the Priority Wine Pass for a 2 for 1 tasting. The Trione family can be proud of their wines and dedicated employees.
