“Had an awesome experience here. We ordered the Afghani chicken, paneer chili, and garlic naan with a side of rice. Every dish was presented beautifully. The spices were very well-balanced, especially in the sauce on the chicken. The chili paneer had a different flavor than what I've tasted before, maybe due to the addition of sesame seeds, and I enjoyed trying a rendition of the dish that was new to me. The chai tea may have been some of the best I've had. Our server, Komal, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She had a lovely energy that elevated the experience even more. “Best Indian food in fresno hands down. I have tried a lot of different places however Slice of India consistently reigns at the top. Be warned they do take their time in making the entrees (which is a good thing for Indian food). The entrees are always fresh and cooked to your spice level. I recommend the chicken Bahar with the garlic naan. The garlic naan are unparalleled here int the central valley ( as of now). Highly recommend for those who are looking for great quality Indian food in fresno. Cons: sometimes a wait to be seated (should not deter you away).“
“Very delicious takeout and a good shop to buy spices and ingredients that are hard to find elsewhere. If you order through their website, I would recommend calling to make sure it's ready- don't trust the automated text/emails. We arrived and the owners apologized and said it would be ready in 45 minutes. They were just finishing up a huge order. They made everything fresh for us and offered free drinks for the trouble. Very friendly and welcoming staff.“

“My review is purely based on the food since I ordered for take out. I ordered saag paneer (which they didn't end up having) so I replaced it with shahi paneer, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, vegetable samosa and naan. I love Indian food so I was glad to find something close to home. The girl that gave me my food was friendly. The shahi paneer, tandoori, and butter chicken were all delicious. The texture of the chicken was perfect for my taste , not chewy or fatty at all so I was really happy with that. The naan was also tasty. The only thing I didn't really enjoy was the samosa as it was too salty for my taste so I couldn't finish it. I also would have rather had saag paneer to match with the butter chicken since shahi paneer sauce is pretty similar to butter chicken. Hopefully they have it next time I go back so I can try it. Overall I would recommend this place and I will definitely go back to try more food.“
“Please don’t let the name confuse you as it did me. When my buddy said we are going for curry pizza I thought, curry!?. Well I was pleasantly impressed with the creativity and taste of this pizza. My wife doesn’t eat pizza because of either too much sauce or a poor tasting sauce. Well this pizza did not stand a chance, my wife loved it, as did I. We had thin crust pizza that was cooked perfectly . One pepperoni and cheese the other a vegetable. A wonderful contrast between the two. For Side appetizer we had the chicken pieces one BBQ the other chicken was regular. Both equally delicious. A definite top pizza stop for us. The restaurant was clean with a nice beer on tap and soda selection. Service quick and friendly.“
