The Punjabi Dhaba offers excellent parathas, which are the star of the menu, including tandoori paratha, Aloo paratha, and Mooli paratha. The food is very tasty and just like homemade real Punjabi style food, with the best part being it’s without oil. Parathas come with freshly churned white butter and pickles, and the jumbo ones are HUGE. Other must-try items include Chana masala with curd, sweet and spicy chutney, salad, dhal makhni, panner burji, and sweet lassi. The fresh orange juice with black pepper and salt is also a must have. Yogurt and dahee are tasty and looking real homemade type. Under new ownership, the food quality is still good, with the old chef still there. The atmosphere has more space, is organized and neat. Service is great, with large groups served with patience despite confusing orders. This might be the best parathas in California, offering authentic fresh Indian food.
