We are local to Cafe 101 so we eat here often. Our favorites are the pea soup on Wednesday, the fresh salads and their great breakfast. If you are passing through you should stop in. Cafe 101 has amazing servers and the atmosphere is conducive to conversation and socializing.
I had been here once before - both times on a bicycle trip through Coalinga. I was reminded just how friendly the staff is and how much I liked the atmosphere. It seemed like the locals and the staff knew each other and people talked between tables, even talking to us outsiders. People flipped between Spanish and English freely and we were offered plenty of coffee refills. Reminds me of how I feel America should be. Thanks for the great service, guys!
