“I packed up my mini backpack last night for our adventures today. We went to the park for a play date and then we went to the library, and then we stopped to get smoothies. We placed our order and I went to pay and realized I didn’t have my wallet (I’m also not with the times and don’t have a digital one). I apologized and told the kids we needed to just go home. The lady who took our order (I think the manager) said we had come all that way, it was hot and she didn’t want the kids disappointed and I wasn’t leaving with nothing. I figured she was going to just get them tiny cups with a little smoothie in them. She told her team to make my order but give me a large instead of medium. I was shocked. I apologized again for not having a digital wallet or anything and that we really didn’t need anything, that we could come back a different day, that she could take my $3 reward from me… she gave us our order and told me not to worry about it and have a nice day and just give them a good review.
