Dunkin' Donuts in Colton

“Every time I am in the area, I swing by to grab a boston cream donut or one of their lemonades. Always delicious, I think the girl's named Kayleigh, she has helped me in a lot of my transactions and gives good advice or items I should try within my rotations“

“Wifey was craving a lil coffee drink and a bagel after a late afternoon appointment nearby and we stopped by after finding all the other bagel shop options closed or way too far away. I could also use a little pick me up before the drive back into LA proper.

At the drive thru we ordered an Oreo coffee chiller, mango pineapple refresher, ham and cheese croissant and a lightly buttered bagel. Unfortunately as we picked up the order I was informed the mango flavor was out but I subbed in the dragon fruit flavor the lovely lady suggested which was really refreshing indeed. The Oreo drink was delicious as expected and the bagel was surprisingly decent versus expectations. The ham and cheese croissant fell very short in size and texture and given what Mom and pop donut shops can offer through big distributors like Sysco and I'm surprised Dunkin can't match that.

Overall the location was fast and friendly with good drink offerings, but unfortunately corporate has probably cut costs and raised prices so much that I cant see them competing well with with likes of Starbucks and smaller shops that Dunkin probably used to top on value. Similarly competitors like dutch bros offer a lot more non coffee caffeinated options that I tend to go for.“
