“Stopped by on Tuesday night with my boy. The inside is much bigger than we thought. We sat at the bar and the bartender greeted us right away with big smile.
We ordered wings with mango habanero sauce and lemon pepper seasoning. Both were very yummy!!! I can tell that ranch dressing that came with the wings was homemade.
Their margaritas is one of the best I have ever tried!!
It’s a sport bar with tasty menu and yummy drinks. A plus is both bathrooms are spotless.

“This was my second visit to Pijja Palace. It’s on Sunset Blvd, and coming from the South Bay it took about 40 minutes, so it’s a place I plan ahead for.
The menu is Indian-influenced comfort food—pizza, burgers, bar-style dishes—meant to be shared. We ordered a few items and the onion rings were especially good. The Indian-inspired pizzas were flavorful and filling, with sauces you can add depending on spice level. We also ordered the cheese chili toast, which tasted familiar and worked well with the rest of the menu. Drinks include Indian flavor notes - order the rose lemonade!
The server was very friendly, which made the experience easy and relaxed.
Parking can be tricky. There’s a small lot in front plus street parking. We made a lunch reservation, and going right when they open is a good strategy if you want to avoid parking stress.
I’d go back with friends—pizza and shared plates make it a fun group spot.“

“Lakewood Rocks Sports Bar is a very nice. Great live bands, friendly bartenders, clean, dance floor, nice decore and set up well. It may look small from the outside but step in and you will find it's much larger. Sue the owner is a very friendly person and takes pride in what she does. Myself as a woman feels safe there. Nice friendly clientele. The door manager is a great guy. Step into Lakewood Rocks Sportsbar and enjoy a good time!“

“Shaded parking to beat the heat! The parking signs have the logo of this establishment underneath the other business (an optical store) so don't hesitate to park around this simulator business. Friendly staff, comfortable interior, and gcquad! Great rates, up to 6 people. Would come back!“

“The Canoe House has great food, a creative menu, and a fun, tropical-themed atmosphere. We enjoy having lunch or dinner here with friends and family. They also have a good-sized meeting room if you have a group.“
“Love coming here, with friends, after a long day of classes. I really like how they always have different unique and interesting beers always cycling through on tap. The staff can sometimes not be the most service friendly but that's not a huge deal, it's usually pretty busy. I wish happy hour specials were daily! Not just two days a week, I mean doesn't make much sense. Will be here a lot next semester with my classes.“

“If you're in Los Angeles and happen to wonder over on the East Side, this is the place to stop by. Food and drinks are always served with hospitality and love. Environment is friendly with TV for any sports game. And the music is always bumping.“

“My girlfriend wanted to do karaoke for her birthday. This place was recommended that was local. So glad we came. The dj was great. We order carna asada pizza though it was a little off. But It was delicious. So we had to try other ones my next favorite was the chicken Bacon ranch, new favorite. Shrimp and calamari was so good. After all that food, we couldn't stop dancing. Like I said the dj was great. We different recommend this place, can't wait to go back. the service was so good it makes you feel like you're family. Best thinking of all was how much fun we had singing..... was worth every penny...“

“Today for lunch one of my 2 coworkers took us here, he knows the spot and so some guys. I was super surprised when I got in, I was really thinking he is going to take us to have a beer, the place is basically a bar, but what I didn't really know was that they have food . My coworkers actually order food for us, I didn't even know when he ordered or what he ordered because I didn't see any menu. The surprise came pretty fast, which was a very nice plate with rice, meat and some vegetables, honestly food was super good , I would definitely go back again and highly recommend this place. The best part is the service, the girl (Vivi) whom was taking care of us is super nice, friendly and knows how to treat people , I noticed that she treats everyone the same way.“

“Cindy is honestly one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met. She’s super chill but also on top of everything. She remembers faces, makes you feel welcome, and somehow knows exactly when to crack a joke or just let you breathe. The drinks are always solid but it’s really her energy that makes you want to stick around. If she’s behind the bar, you just know you’re about to have a good night. 😌“

“ITS A REALLY COOL, CHILL SPOT TO HAVE A FEW BEERS AT. THE BARTENDER LADY IS THE BEST. SHE IS ON TOP OF WHATEVER IT IS THAT SHE HAS TO DO. MY BROTHER AND WILL GO EVERY OTHER WEEK. “Ambiance and service are on top tier level. Service was above and beyond and the experience was great. Everyone that shows up is either a return customer or a neighboring colleague. For only being there for a couple of hours I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that’s a traveler or local. We had wings and pizza. The best for a late night drink and wind down.“

“We (a trio of ladies) chose this Applebee’s for a little reunion dinner after a movie night, and we’re so glad we ended up here! It was one of the few places still open around 9 PM, and it turned out to be the perfect spot.
We were greeted by Gerardo, who set the tone for the night with his kindness and professionalism. He gave us plenty of time to look through the menu and even pointed out the best deals without ever making us feel rushed. Despite his device acting up, he handled everything quickly and smoothly. Throughout the evening, he checked in on us at just the right moments to make sure we had everything we needed.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and enjoyed a relaxed, fun reunion dinner. We’ll definitely be returning soon! Please give a big thank-you to Gerardo for making our visit so easy, enjoyable, and for sharing a laugh with us when he heard our wild stories as he walked by!! Thank you so much Gerardo and I hope you enjoy the holidays! :D“
