“Best grilled chicken. I drive from redondo just to come here. The prices are insanely reasonable. I always get the 2 chicken combo with sides or 3 chicken combo if I have guests over my house. The sides are incredible too. The rice has a corn finish to it with perfect taste, no salt needed as it’s seasoned perfectly. I’m not a fan of beans but they’re very similar to my grandmothers (they’re not fried beans). The potato salad is addicting too, it’s really my guilty pleasure and the last thing we run out off. Pops Chicken HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“I got the 4 piece dinner. Chicken was amazing. Just enough salt spice and crunch on every bite. Got breast wing and leg. All delicious. Fries perfect to what Lousiana is known for. Small spot but customer service is good. Id come back. One of the better fried chicken experiences despite the outside appearance. Probably my new favorite chicken spot now.“

“I worked and ran that store from 1998 to 2008 trust me all I can say is , THANK YOU COMPTON , I had the best of the team working our service used to speak for itself , I have seen drive byes and baby born inside our Restroom . Them days , I learned a lot from that hub city ?? it’s all about respectWe were the only store who use carry corn bread and mean Greens and off course Rotisserie chicken“
