“It was hard to find the restaurant because it was in the back corner of a business complex. It's very easy to miss, but there's plenty of parking at least. Me and 2 friends ordered from the kiosk and waited about 15m for 3 sandwiches and fries. Inside it's quite small with only a table and bar with 4 seats each.

I got the Signature Sandwich with LVL 2 sauce. The sandwich was massive, and the chicken was so thick, incredibly juicy, and perfectly cooked. The breading and cabbage were crunchy too. The mayo was a creamy complement to the chicken without being overpowering. The spicy sauce was served on the side, and it was so deliviously flavorful and not only spicy. My only complaint here is that I wish there was more spicy sauce and that it was spread inside the sandwich, because I kept forgetting to drizzle sauce on between bites and still ran out.

The salt and vinegar fries tasted exactly like the Lay's flavor but with more potato from the fries, of course. Honestly the fries were nothing special but they gave so much that the box was overflowing.

I tried my friend's Kimchi Egg Sandwich too. The ham was pretty forgettable or missable, but the egg was delicious. The egg was incredibly moist, sweet, and delicately salty, and it paired well with the mild acidity of the kimchi.

We chatted with the owner a bit when we picked up our food and she was very sweet and kind. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. I hope more people check this place out, because it's unfortunately very missable in its current location. I'm going to come back but will definitely share a sandwich next time.“

“Had the $80 fish sandwich with caviar. It was so good. A bit spicy I'm not one for spicy stuff but it was very tasty. I said I was leaving tomorrow and was really excited to try it out it had been on my list for over a year. The chef was really nice he let me try one of the chicken tenders on the house and it was a little spicier bit still really good amd extremely juicy. It's a refreshing pace from some of the other restaurants in the area that don't have good customer service. I really appreciate yall amd the great food you topped off a great trip to LA.“

“Went to this spot because I use to go to the one in Cypress that closed, this spots in a strip mall with various other places, the location was outdated and looks like it was some kind of eatery before they had a big display case that was unused there was no seating in the location so dining in is out of the question. I ordered the 4 pease chicken meal 2 breasts and 2 thighs, the chicken could have been cleaner there was extra skin just left in the peases when they were cooked, I don't mind the ribs being on a chicken breast but not removing it from the carcass isn't good enough for me. My sister ordered some fish and shrimp and some gizzards no problem there nicely done overall the food was good, with a few changes this place would be amazing

“I first visited Dave's Hot Chicken three years ago when I worked at Ontario Airport and quickly became a regular customer. Since then, I changed airport locations and was thrilled to hear they were building one outside Lakewood Mall. My wife had never tried it, so I took her there for lunch. I ordered Dave's #1 meal for her, which included two tenders with fries, a slice of bread, pickles, and Dave's sauce. I chose the Hot heat level for her and a regular drink. The total amount came to $19.64, including a $2 tip. It may seem a little pricey, but the tenders are a decent size, and the flavor is fantastic. The ambiance on a Monday afternoon was calm and relaxing, making it an excellent spot for lunch. The employees provided superb customer service, and my order was ready within 10 minutes. The restaurant also has a patio section if you wish to eat outside. My wife enjoyed her meal but thinks she will order it at a medium spice level next time. We will be back soon.“

“Wow, this place is beyond amazing. You can tell the make the food with love. My team from work decided to order the family pack for someones birthday- with 5 chicken rotisserie/ all cut up and grilled to perfection. The sides such as beans, nopale salad, pico de gallo, hot sauce( green/red), macaroni. Everyone enjoyed this place and they have the best customer service. I had to leave a tip because of how great the service and food was. It really exceeded my expectations. Come here for some delicious Mexican food, its worth every penny!“

“I’m amazed. I was just passing by and decided to have Maui Chicken. DELICIOUS! I ordered salmon and avocado poke bowl, 100% recommend this place. Service amazing, they are very polite. It was a very hot day, I forgot to order water or anything to drink, the owner gave me a cold water bottle before leaving and said “it’s a very hot day outside, have some water”. They literally treat you like family. I saved this place in my favorites, I’m coming back. It wasn’t the free water for me, it was how kind they are here, they are laughing all the time, very nice energy. Food is AMAZING, taste and freshness are incredible. Portions are perfect, not too much rice. The plate comes with rice, A LOT of toppings, salad and mac&cheese for $19. It’s not overpriced at all, I don’t mind paying, when food and service are 5 stars. The spicy curry rice and greens were the sides I chose and both were on point. I got the chance to go to the grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken and boy did it live up to the hype! Let's start off with first impressions. The building looks super cool from the outside to the inside. From the dope color skeems to the patterns and art work. Staff was amazing as well. Even though we were in a long line everything moved quickly. Staff was very helpful and whoever that lady manager is was doing her freaking job boy I loved her! Now let's get to some negative before we get to the positive. Something was absolutely wrong with that milkshake machine or the product. It was awful tasting and had a weird stringy like glue consistency. We don't know what it was but we quickly threw them away. We even saw other customers pouring their milkshakes out rinsing the cups and getting soda instead. Hopefully by now they have caught this and fixed the situation. Now the positive. The food itself I don't have anything to say but delicious! The chicken was good and everything went so well with each other. Like man the only thing to me that was just okay was the macaroni and cheese it was just cheese and noodles. It just needed a little salt and pepper and it would have been in there. I normally go to the Pico Union one but this one has easier parking and more seating. They also have more selection but I've never gotten anything but the chicken.
