Thanks to the app happy cow I was able to locate Sunny’s in Compton for some delicious tacos. I had the Hibiscus & jackfruit tacos with rice and beans… which was seasoned to perfection and delicious ! Thank you to Tony who took our order with pleasure.

You need to eat here!!

Sunny Express has both Chinese and Mexican vegan food and it is SO GOOD!

I got the orange nuggets (a small is 8!!) And the habanero wings, which are shredded chikn wrapped around sugarcane 'bones'. Incredibly flavorful and satisfying if you miss real meat.

I also got a hibiscus steak burrito, their carrot cake, almond cookies (not vegan, but very delicious) and chileqilles for breakfast.

This place is the best!! Both Mexican and Chinese menus are so good!! I got the hibiscus steak burrito, orange nuggets, and habanero wings. The wings were the highlight, i haven't had anything this good outside of Thailand. I love the sugarcane 'bones 'in the wings, and their sauces are top notch. Aguafresca is also on point, don't skip it! They have matcha horchata, too. They have almond cookies that are not vegan but still very good. The vegan carrot cake...
