Excellent selection and quality of pastries and baked goods. The princess cake is the best for any occasion. I enjoy getting a latte there too.

The pastry in this place is really good and fresh! But they get 3 stars because of the customer service, I didn't feel welcomed, maybe it was because I came in with my toddler, but the staff was giving priority to other customers and when I finally was able to sit and have some coffee with pastry I asked for a spoon or fork which never was given to me, so I finished my coffee and left. (My toddler was sitting calmly watching her show and eating)

I came in to order a birthday cake for my Dad’s birthday. I saw on the display a white cake with green decorative boarders and told the lady I wanted something like that display cake; a white cake with whipped cream, and instead of green I want it to be blue. The lady asked me what fillings I’d like and told me what filling options there were. Originally I wanted bananas and strawberries, but she told me they don’t have strawberries but they have strawberry preserves. She told me one filling is free but I could get additional fillings for $5 charge per extra filling, so I chose 3 overall (fresh bananas, strawberry preserves and whip cream) I asked for “Happy Birthday Dad” to be written on it. When she asked me what color I wanted the writing, I said blue. She said “so you want blue writing on a BLUE cake?!” I told her, no I want the cake to be white with blue decorative boarders and blue writing. I again pointed at the display cake that was white with green boarders and said that I wanted it just like that but instead of green I want blue. She then tells me that she needs to correct the form she was filling out and my total because she was trying to charge me an extra $25 for blue coloring to make it a blue cake. So I felt like she really didn’t know what she was doing. She later called me saying that I selected 3 fillings but I can only have 2. When I asked why was I charged the additional $5 per filling then if I can only have 2? She said I would be refunded the $5 for whatever filling I didn’t want. So I eliminated the whip cream filling and stuck with the fresh bananas with strawberry preserves. The cake ended up being really dry and it was also made with Buttercream when I specifically asked for whip cream, and they put Raspberry preserves instead of strawberry.. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and the quality has never ever gone down. The carrot cake they have here has ruined all carrot cake for me because it is INCREDIBLE here. The chocolate cupcakes are to die for, the Bavarian cream puffs are a 15/10 and the eclairs are 🤌🤌🤌🤌. I'm eating carrot cake right now from somewhere else dreaming of alpine. I love you guys and I'm so happy I live 3 blocks away

We have purchased cakes and cupcakes from Alpine for years! I dont know what happened during this last order but our cake was not the right color or design. Most of our party guests threw the cake away and complained that it did not taste good.
We called the bakery to speak with the manager and unfortunately no one was able to address our concerns. No apology, no offer to remake the cake, nothing.

Worst attitude from the lady who gave us a coffee thinking it’s a coffee. When we told her it doesn’t taste like mocha, she says no that’s how it tastes with an arrogant face. Honestly a gas station’s coffee and customer service is better than Apline’s

Alpine has good customer service never under staffed. The lady who helped me was kind and welcoming. I buy all my seasonal pastries from Alpine every year. Wide range of flavors always freshly bake.
