There aren't enough stars to give this place. Family run and that's what you feel like when you go there. Buche, carnival, chicharones, chicken and ribs ( yes, ribs) are all outstanding. My neice comes back to CA from Austrailia and this is the place she wants to go. Even my buddy says it reminds him of how his grandparents cooked on their ranch in Jalisco. You absolutely will love this place. Do yourself a solid and get tortillas, they make them fresh every day.

We went to .Mercado del Sol they have 4.7 stars We got two chicken and beef enchilada dinners and tacos. The food was just ok. It didn't have a real Mexican flavor no red sauce on the enchiladas they were dry I think next time we will just go back to oakland.

Tried both the carnitas and pollo rostizado. The pollo was good, nothing spectacular but good. The salsas are very tasty. But the carnitas!!! Those are some real Mexican carnitas!! Reminded me of the carnitas we used to eat in Jalisco.
The staff is nice, wish they had a nicer dining area.
