So I tried going to a restaurant with a hotpot called shabuya WORST place ever I couldn't get a seat the process to get seated is ridiculous. So bam I google HOTPOT restaurant and boom steamboat I call the young lady is so sweet she says No reservations needed I get there it's my first time me and my family party of 6 they explained the process and they had all the sauces and paste to go with the food unlike shabuya per my daughter no seasoning what so ever.. so boom we're eating it's nice and family friendly this is a tea good authentic place and the staff is so respectful sweet and helpful I don't usually tip but man I gave them a 20$ tip and went back 3 days later just myself and husband and 2 daughters just to make sure in the kids of the day and again service was impeccable.. my new fav spot.. good food good ambience..

Kinda pricy... Still good though. Portions are decent. My partner and I have been here a few times when the hotpot craving hits. Located in a strip mall with parking up front. Restaurant itself is quite plain, very minimal decor. Staff are fairly friendly and attentive. Old-school ordering where you mark your selections on a piece of paper for staff to collect. They have a good variety of raw & cooked foods, although most of the former are $5+ for a small plate (!!!!). I've had some of their a la carte dishes but found they were a little bland (dumplings, short rib). My personal favorite soup base is the miso-- it's just rich enough to impart flavor onto meats and veggies. Limited sauce options on the table (no fresh herbs...!). Overall, pretty good hotpot spot for east bay.

We tried hot pot for the first time and loved it. Being a vegetarian, I didn't have any problems in ordering for myself. Everything was delicious. Taking a star off for fried tofu, it was quite soggy. Won't order again. And service- there was only one family dining apart from us. No takeout or delivery orders either. But we were constantly struggling to get attention from 2 servers. They were busy on their phones and were paying no attention to diners!

Price can get up there since everything is sold separately so be aware. Still my favorite hot pot in the area.

Food was good but service poor. Party of five, Our first time there, not sure how things worked, and the Waitress wasn’t very helpful. Appetizers arrived after main course arrived. Only checked back on us once at the end of our meal. Attractive and clean atmosphere.

We went to eat here back in May 2023. My son and his girlfriend both got sick after dinner from eating the spicy broth. I had the mild broth and did not get sick. I reported this to the Contra Costa Public Health department who performed an inspection on the restaurant and found deficiencies in their processes. The restaurant will now have to address these deficiencies. Until these are addressed, (I was told they now have yellow placard in their window), I would recommend going somewhere else.

This is a very nice hot pot location that popped on our search in Concord. Located in downtown among all the shopping centers around. Prime location and open until 12AM midnight. The broth and meat options are more than adequate! We got the Chicken spicy base with Chicken meat, long bean sprouts, corn, ramen noodles and fried tofu. All tasted good with more than happy hotpot experience. Staff were super humble and polite. Definitely a GOTO hotpot in Concord.

Definitely 5 stars for them. We've been coming here since 2018. We come here at least once or sometimes twice a month. It is our favorite place to have Shabu shabu. Staff are definitely nice and friendly! I highly recommend them!

I recently dined at the steamboat restaurant on 1845 Willow Pass, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. The highlight was undoubtedly the food - it was delicious, and the steamboat options were satisfying. However, our experience was marred by the service. We were greeted by a female waitress who initially showed us to our seats but then seemed more interested in her video on a mobile device. She disappeared, and not only did we not receive any further service, but she never even brought us a glass of water. It was disappointing to see such a lack of attention and professionalism. While the food was great, the service left much to be desired. I hope the restaurant can improve in this aspect because good service can make or break the overall dining experience.
