literally the best burger since we had too move to Los Molinos after the camp fire , bacon that isn't to over cooked and crispy with my bad throat I normally can't eat bacon but theirs is cooked perfectly , so YuMmY we will be back throughout the summer n more !!

Took me a couple months to get around to stopping, I have been missing this great place. Real cooked food that taste like it should and the people that work there make you feel welcome. When e get some warmer weather I’m going back to try a milkshake and until than I’ll just enjoy the great food and people.

The burger here is a must stop if you traveling on I5. Everytime we road trip from OR to Cal we always plan our trip to eat here for lunch. Trust me you wont be disappointed. Family own for 50yrs amd the quality of food is way better than any franchises.

This is what I call an old burger shack. Looks like it is run down but the truth is the food is what you come for. This pull off the highway location is a great little stop. You will have to wait 15 or so minutes to get your food, but its worth the wait. I got a giant burger meal add 2x cheese and bacon with large fries and a large strawberry shake. 28.07 The burger was as big as my face. Worth every single bite. Definitely planning on going again.

So I had a pick up order 2 giant cheeseburger meals and 1 regular cheeseburger meal. 2 with fries and 1 with onion rings. Let's start with the cheeseburgers first. They were gross. It had a thick layer of mayo, mustard and ketchup on both sides of the bread. So thick it made the buns completely soggy and I had to take it apart, get a napkin and wipe out all the sauce. Who likes soggy bread? Anyone? Even the seasoning on the meat was gross. I took 1 bite and spit it out. So the fries were good but I didn't order 3 fries. I order 2 fries and onion rings. They gave us 3 fries no onion rings. I live like 10 miles away from Bartels so I wasn't going to turn around to get my onion rings. I should have looked in the bag and checked my order before I left. Lesson learned. I also ordered 2 chocolate malt shakes and those were delicious. They are severely overpriced for the quality of of food I got. I paid close to $63! Not worth it. Next time I want a burger I will make it for myself

Terrible service...waiting for 15 minutes, the little guy taking orders asked for a few more minutes. We sat down to stay out of other customers way. While waiting another family walks in, and the guy takes their order knowing we were waiting. Terrible service. We left without ordering anything.

This is our go to for a great burger here in town! Our whole family loves it. Even being a vegetarian I have couple choices I love. The staff is always friendly and accommodating too.. We can't say enough about them! Stop in and see for your self!
