What an incredible place! Be patient, it's well worth the wait. My wife and I felt like we had a home cooked meal from our Peruvian grandparents. I can't wait to come back. Also... Get the empanadas!

Great personal attention and service. Food was not what we are used to. The chicha was mixed with Jamaica, because it's healthier. Prices were the same as San Francisco. Overall it's a 3 Star, and that's being generous. It's difficult to understand all the other high ratings.

We stopped in for a quick bite. We were so pleased with this meal. The owner was gracious and informative. We had Tallarin Saltado, a Chinese Peruvian stir-fry which blew us away. Try this place if you are ever in Corning California. This is a simple family run authentic restaurant. Not fancy, but delicious.

Absolutely delicious! We tried the causa limeña, beef soup, ossobuco, empanadas, and pollo a la brasa. Everything was delightful! Very recommended!

Great food and kind service! All the dishes we had were so tasty that I now want to return to try every dish in the menu. It is a great place to eat fresh and delicious Peruvian food.
Little cozy Peruvian Rest with great Peruvian food. Just be careful, it is a little pricey! But good.

Walking up to the place. We couldn't tell if it was open or closed. We took a chance and jiggled on the door and luckily for us it was open. When we walked inside we were greeted by a male who is very small in stature but full of life. There were only a handful of tables in the restaurant and the interior is very outdated. It was very, very small. Despite the outdated appearance, there was a certain charm to it as well that we actually appreciated very much.We started off with beer and ordered the ceviche. I can't remember the name of what I ordered. It was kind of a seafood soup and it was to die for! The food here was absolutely amazing! There was a significant wait for it but, trust me, it was well worth it.One of the things we noticed is that the entire time we were in the restaurant, which was approximately an hour and a half maybe 2 hours, we were the only people who came in. This is very sad considering how wonderful and delicious the food is as well as the atmosphere thanks to the owner. If I had one complaint it is that the food is very expensive. Despite the price we would still return because this food was just so amazing. I can't thank the owner enough for how welcoming he was and how patient he was as we were trying to learn a menu that we were very unfamiliar with. If you're looking for a place that has genuine Peruvian food made by people who are true to their culture and the authenticity of the food that they serve, this is the place. This four-star rating is solely based on the price of the food, not the atmosphere, not the taste or anything else.

I had better expectations about this place beacuse i saw great reviews. Only good I tried was ocopa even though was so spicy. Basically everything was extremely spicy . I order adobo and estofado de carne . Meat was really hard ? to much condiments but like tooo much!! Portion are small for those elevated prices . Chicha morada and the services was good. Sorry guys but I just didn't enjoy my lunch because all that spicy killed all the flavor from food! ?
The chicken and rice main dish, arroz con pollo, was really good. The green seasoning in the rice was amazing. The chicken was well marinated and tender. I eat well and I know good food. It was very good. The pork with red sauce and white rice, adobo de puerco, was good, but the chicken was better. The chicha morada fruit drink with cinnamon drink was good. The beef, onion, raisin, (papa rellena) was hearty and tasty. I recommended going here.
My girlfriend and I were finishing a three week trip to the Pacific Northwest in late June. We were driving from Port Angeles, WA to Santa Maria on California's central coast. We were on the second day of a thousand mile return trip and Corning, CA was as far as we wanted to drive. To our surprise, the town had a Peruvian Restaurant! The Condor Marka was not only a restaurant but a meeting hall for people of Peruvian descent. We were treated to Peruvian Beer (Cusquena), the Peruvian National Dish(Ceviche de Pescado), shredded chicken(Aji de Gallina) and Afajores (cookies). Also while eating, we were educated by the owner on all things Peruvian! The experience was a total delight and the food was excellent.
The food was OFF THE CHARTS EXCELLENT and the service was great. Definitely going to come back!!!!! Take the time and stop by here. You won’t be disappointed ?
