Great little restaurant , order the tradition egg roles to start comes with 5 fried rolls you wrap them in lettuce with some basil carrot shreds and cucumber and thin dip in a sauce that makes it a fresh crunchy tasty bite. Had the seafood soup comes in a little hot plate with side of noodles and you laddie it in a bowl. Yummy. Other hot item is the Thai Green ice tea. Yum

Bamboo Bistro in Corona del Mar has been on my list for about six months. As someone who genuinely loves both Thai and Vietnamese food, I had heard great things and finally had the perfect excuse to go when a friend came to town.
From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was completely full, but they quoted us 15 minutes and had us seated in under 10. The space itself is clean, comfortable, and larger than it looks from the outside. We ended up in a cozy corner booth and it was perfect.
The service was great and the food absolutely delivered. Prices felt very fair for the quality and portions. We ordered the papaya salad with prawns, crispy noodles with beef, and Thai chicken. The crispy noodles were unreal. They came out looking like nothing I’d ever seen before and were nearly impossible to stop eating.
Somewhere along the way, this is exactly why I love exploring the village. Working in Corona del Mar means getting to know the local spots that make this place special, not just the homes, but the restaurants, the people, and the community behind them.
Parking can be a little tricky, but if you’re familiar with the village and know how to work the side streets, it usually takes five minutes or less to find something nearby.
All in all, Bamboo Bistro lived up to the hype. Delicious food, friendly staff, and a spot I’ll definitely be coming back to. If you’re in the area and love Thai or Vietnamese food, this one belongs on your list.

The food was tasty and fresh. The family loved the soup, Chicken Pad Thai, Coconut Shrimp roll and specialty dishes. No room for dessert this time. Thank you for the exceptional service.
Excellent food in a casual but refined environment. Menu is a bit pan-Asian and quite pricey, but the quality of every dish was excellent. Highly Recommend the brodard grilled pork fresh spring rolls, very fresh chicken salad, and the Hanoi style smoked pork noodles. The shrimp coconut soup and the eggplant tofu clay pot were also good.

We were greeted and seated right away. Each of us got a different dish and no one was disappointed. We loved the duck appetizer and I flipped for the lemongrass chicken with jalapenos. So delicious! Can't wait to get back to this CDM gem.
Everything I've tried is delicious, but their matcha cheesecake is the best dessert in town.

Always a wonderful meal at Bamboo Bistro. Love the seafood crepe, prawn spring rolls, Thai chicken curry, beef and basil. Sake cocktails were great. Service was great! I would highly recommend.
Bamboo is one of those spots you can always count on. I ordered the pho and the broth was really flavorful without being too heavy, and the portions were solid. Everything came out hot and tasted fresh.
Service was friendly and the vibe was chill. Easy place to grab a good meal and I’ll definitely be back.

I usually love this place, but our recent visit was disappointing. The soup was served cold, and the noodles in the pad see ew were stuck together and undercooked. Service was slow, and it took a long time to get someone's attention for drink refills. On top of that, the portion sizes seemed smaller while prices have gone up. Hoping it was just an off day, but it definitely didn't meet the usual standards.
The girl in glasses at the distribution desk was unpleasantly rude and left a terrible impression on me.
