I love Sota. Great sushi and usually very friendly staff. Tonight we ordered take out and the hostess with reddish hair couldn’t have been more unfriendly. She made us feel so uncomfortable and was beyond rude. Not even a simple hello or thank you was exchanged—actually, no words were.

Hidden gem in Newport Beach/Corona Del Mar. high quality sushi at reasonable prices. The Toro was to die for.
Was able to get a a table Saturday night with no wait at walk in

This is a great place… u can reasonably get in on busy nights (one of the reasons I come) and it’s reasonably priced. Theres a place on the pennisula I prefer but it’s double or triple the price and it’s a 2 hour ordeal at min.

I feel like this is a great neighborhood spot…
