We came here to have drinks and watch the sunset. What a perfect spot! The drink menu is limited and pricy, but with the outdoor seating and beautiful surroundings, who cares? Best sunsets on the southern west coast.
After four very long days of a work trip, our last stop found us in Coronado. Thrilled to be free of work, coworkers and I decided to treat ourselves to cocktails at the "Del." After wandering the beach and perusing the shops we landed at Babcock and Story Bar. It was a warmish night for October in San Diego, but they still had the overhead heaters on, making it very comfortable to sit at a table that was on the cusp of being outside. We stopped here for lunch on Friday. You can pick any table you want on the deck and it was quite easy to get a table with an ocean view. Service was fast and great, our waiter was very helpful and told us about discount for the hotel garage parking, food was delicious and fries were the best I've ever had at restaurants. And our perfect meal and drinks were served with top-notch ocean view, which always makes me happy and meal tastier.
