As a long-time fan of Better Buzz, I was thrilled when they expanded to Coronado. However, my experiences at the Coronado and Bonita locations couldn’t be more different.Let me start with the positives: the Bonita team consistently crafts their drinks with care, resulting in beverages that are always satisfyingly consistent. When I’m shelling out $7-10.00, I expect nothing less than perfection, and the Bonita location delivers on that expectation every time.Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the Coronado branch. Despite my excitement for its opening, I’ve found the drinks here to be disappointingly inconsistent. It’s almost as if the team isn’t following the established recipes or protocols, resulting in a lackluster experience. In summary, while I continue to adore Better Buzz, the disparity between the Bonita and Coronado locations is stark. I hope the Coronado team can strive for the same level of excellence that the Bonita team consistently achieves.

Stumbled upon this coffee shop and I recommend the "Best Drink Ever" - I ordered this on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. It had a robust espresso kick with just enough sweetness to cut the bitterness. Plenty of other interesting menu items I would like to try. Staff moved the line through quickly during a peak hour. The decor was modern, yet not generic "coffee shop" - tasteful and on-theme.

Worst better buzz in San Diego. Slow and makes sub par coffees. Shame because I really like this chain.

Love love LOVE better buzz!!! My absolute favorite coffee in the world!!! Great recommendations by my barista, I came in a little hungover and wanting to try something new and get some food and she did not disappoint! Delish drink, bomb ass sando, can't wait to visit SD again so I can get my fave coffee
We were looking for an afternoon pick-me-up near Hotel Del Coronado and we found this place thanks to Yelp! It is right across the street! The place is bright and inviting. We were greeted right away by a smiling barista. I decided to get a large iced mocha and it was delicious! The pricing is fair for the area. We would definitely go back here again.

Pros: top line espresso machine (La Marzocco), lots of space to sit and enjoyCons: only 2 sizes, large and extra large! (no 8oz caps or 12oz lattes here. And everything is a sugar heavy concoction. No straight coffee drinks anywhere on the menu, but I ordered a plain latte anyhow and it came sweetened by default. I had them remake it, which they were happy to do. :)Drinks can be ordered "half sweet" and my husband's half sweet vanilla latte was still a sledgehammer of sweet. So maybe order 1/4 sweet?!
