“I travel to San Diego at least twice a month for work I always stay on shelter island and 50 percent of the reason is because of fathom. I love the food. Staff. Beer selection and the view. I often walk across the street from my hotel with my laptop. Sit in the sun. Have some food. Beer and work. I’ve never had a bad experience and doubt I ever will. My wife and I LOVE this place.“

“We went to Bonne Vie before seeing a show at the Civic Center - very conveniently located. The staff was very friendly and helpful but I believe it opened recently and they are still working out the kinks. One of the servers delivering our drinks spilled two of them on me and my friend. They were very apologetic and kind. The food was good - I would go back. The ambience was a little blah - fitting for being in a traditional, nice hotel but I feel like the lighting was too bright.“

“The food hit the spot and the service was both quick and friendly, which made for a great start. At first, the prices on the menu looked a bit high, but once the meal came out, it all made sense, it was totally worth it. The portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. And you can't go wrong with a nice cold beer during happy hour! Overall, it was a solid experience and I’d definitely swing by again.“

“Interesting experience. The food is 5 stars. Getting the food highly inefficient and we almost left. Any efficiency study will tell you that 1 line and sending out the order to the crew will be faster every time. It was almost like watching 6 separate kitchens work again one another. The carnitas, asada, and stripe were so good. Raise the prices by $1 and get the kitchen to work together and you could see a great benefit to what you have started. Props to the kitchen crew.“
