For starters, the Lanson champagne and Grand Ardeche chardonnay were excellent, followed by the Sanford Pinot Noir. We enjoyed the pre-fixe Thanksgiving dinner. Croque-madame was very good, especially topped with a scoop of caviar. Our consomme was cleansing and light if tepid, while the Langoustine in a bisque reduction was to die for. I thought the turkey was bland and oddly dry, even though the chestnut puree was delicious. The Chilean Seabass was lovely. We thought our meringue dessert was stunning. We had a leisurely, festive dinner, served by the wonderful Anthony, who might have worried that we'd get boisterous if we stayed any longer. I can't wait to go back for happy hour.
After looking at so many dinner choices I chose Chez Loma for my husbands 60th Birthday dinner. Best decision ever. The hostess was very sweet. Sam our server was very friendly and hospitable. Miguel our bus helper was so kind, funny and so accommodating. The beet salad was the best I have ever had and I always order a beet salad. The white fish with asparagus and the suace was incredible. The flaky coconut pastry dessert was heaven. If you are in Coronado, do yourself a favor and come here. Mitch not our server but came to check on us too when in the room. He also confirmed the cranberry juice I ordered was in fact sugarfee. What a nice 60th Birthday dinner celebration. We will be back! Thank you Chef, Miguel, Sam and Mitch!
Food was good (but not great). But good. Service was good, but they took a long time to bring our entree. Too long. Otherwise it was ok
Great food Great menu Good service Pricing in line. Wine selection good Atmosphere and music great Overall great experience Understand new chef is making resturant better than ever.
From the moment we walked in the door we were treated with excellent service. Our waiter, Matthew was very informative and overall AWEOME! He made the experience great! The food was beautiful and delicious. We will definitely be back.
Food was very good: Beet salad was great along with the white fish entree...both were excellent. Overall, the entire meal would have been excellent if we didn't have to send back the crème brûlée which was not good...came out like cold cottage cheese with brown sugar on top. They fixed the problem without any pushback and were very apologetic. The waiter and overall service was excellent, even with the return of the dessert. We'll definitely go back for a second shot.
Service was wonderful. The food was good but could have used a bit more seasoning. I expected more flavorful dishes.
We had the best experience at this restaurant! The food was excellent, the service was outstanding and the setting was charming. Definitely will return and highly recommend!
We loved the charm of your restaurant! The food was so spot on we had the beet salad , French onion soup the beef bourguignon that was perfect both in taste and tenderness!, and yummy crème brûlée! What an outstanding experience! We had reservations in the bar and were seated promptly upon our arrival by a very pleasant young woman. Sam was our server, and he took excellent care of us. We had a Pastis as a opener and indulged in a side of frites that were exceptional. We then had entrees consisting of the salmon for my wife and I had beef Wellington with a side of pureed potatoes that was phenomenal. We paired it with an excellent Pinot Noir. For dessert, Art made us excellent Espresso Martinis. A wonderful experience due to the people and the food. We will be back!
This was our second time at Chez Loma and it did not disappoint. The weather was perfect for outside seating and it was great trying new options on the menu. We will definitely be back!

Such a cute little French restaurant. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was very good.
Great service and great food! The portions are great and priced reasonably for Coronado Island. Great wine and cocktail service.
