It was an experience i don't partake in often (mainly because of the cost) but treating myself was definitely enjoyable! The service was top notch, very attentive and made sure our every needs were met. Hope to get back there in the near future , thanks again Chop House.

Huge disappointment for our anniversary dinner. Don't get me wrong it's a lovely atmosphere and the service was good. But in absolutely no way is this place worth the money. I ordered Alaskan king crab legs for market price ($135) and I received the tiniest 1 & 1/2 crab legs I've ever seen. They were not Alaskan king crab size, they had hardly any meat in them what so ever. I don't mind paying more for good food but this experience was pitiful. If I ran this restaurant I would be embarrassed. I get we are in Coronado, so there's an island price markup to be expected but this felt like pure robbery. As a local who has lived on the island, this establishment is an absolute money trap.

I give this place 5 stars because of Ana J, our server who was so good our dining felt like an elevated experience. We sat outdoors and listened to a wonderful guitarist as well. Magical evening, thank you! The food was delicious, too!

My wife and I went to celebrate our 8 year wedding anniversary. We ordered the Porterhouse for 2 Monday special which was a great value for the quality and amount of food you get. Our server, Lexi, was very friendly and accommodating as well. And the view on the patio is great for sunset viewing.

It was very yummy and had yummy food and yummy good service you should definitely go there because you get to choose your stake knives and you get to have yummy chocolate cake and chocolates.

Hopefully not typical? Atrocious service, sat for almost 15 mins before being talked to, took another 10 for our drinks(Veuve champagne — chilled but flat)to be served, then oysters were still absent 20 minutes later. Asked to close out on the drinks sans oysters and then they rang it up at the wrong price. Impressively bad all around.

Stopped by Cornado for a few drinks, Sebastian made us feel at home. He's personable without being overbearing and seems to genuinely enjoy making sure guests have a great time. My wife was commenting the whole time about how he brought such positive energy to the whole section. Excellent service and great atmosphere. we'll be back soon.
Excellent food and service! We celebrated our wedding anniversary and it was perfect! We ordered the chefs tasting and every course was amazing! The presentation and the food was all good. Only thing we didn't like was the beef tartar, but that is a raw food preference. They made up for it by bringing us more of what we enjoyed, which was a bacon, arugula and pomegranate dish. The seafood, steak, sides, and everything else was divine! Colin and the rest of the serving staff were exceptional! It truly was a perfect evening! 🥰

This is a really good place to enjoy a steak or seafood. My wife had Halibut and it was just as good as the steak I ordered. Highly recommend Stake Chop House!
