My girlfriends and I were there celebrating our birthdays. We had a beautiful dinner that was delicious! They even brought out the biggest slice of chocolate cake for our celebration dinner. It was a perfect night!

Fabulous meal from start to finish. The filet mignon with the sauce trio was outstanding, and the potatoes au gratin were perfectly rich and flavorful. We finished with carrot cake that was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very accommodating with food allergies, which we truly appreciated. Our servers were excellent—attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Can't wait to dine here again!

Food was excellent. Steaks perfect. Service was rather slow. Noise in restaurant so loud we couldn't hear the waiter standing next to our table to take order. Need acoustics tiles on ceiling to blunt sound. Although the food was excellent, wouldn't return because of the high noise level.

Great steakhouse, with a few extra experiences thrown in that we did not expect. The steak platter for a visual and the weapon of choice box! Everything we ordered was incredible: kids Mac and cheese, bread, oysters with good mignonette, crab cake, mushrooms, skirt steak and NY strip. Sauce flight was alright, nothing to write home about, but you need some sauce... decor was beautiful, server Paige was excellent and personable, same with our busser! The doggy bag is also held with coat check 😂 I appreciate that honestly!

Stake Chophouse is consistently outstanding — the location in the heart of Coronado is perfect, the atmosphere is upscale and modern, and the food is incredible every single visit, from perfectly cooked steaks to amazing sides and desserts. The service is truly top-tier, and we especially want to recognize Brian, our waiter, who is always attentive, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He makes the entire experience even better. The value matches the quality, and the wait time is always smooth, especially with a reservation. Stake gets everything right and remains one of the best dining spots in town.
It was an experience i don't partake in often (mainly because of the cost) but treating myself was definitely enjoyable! The service was top notch, very attentive and made sure our every needs were met. Hope to get back there in the near future , thanks again Chop House.

Huge disappointment for our anniversary dinner. Don't get me wrong it's a lovely atmosphere and the service was good. But in absolutely no way is this place worth the money. I ordered Alaskan king crab legs for market price ($135) and I received the tiniest 1 & 1/2 crab legs I've ever seen. They were not Alaskan king crab size, they had hardly any meat in them what so ever. I don't mind paying more for good food but this experience was pitiful. If I ran this restaurant I would be embarrassed. I get we are in Coronado, so there's an island price markup to be expected but this felt like pure robbery. As a local who has lived on the island, this establishment is an absolute money trap.

I give this place 5 stars because of Ana J, our server who was so good our dining felt like an elevated experience. We sat outdoors and listened to a wonderful guitarist as well. Magical evening, thank you! The food was delicious, too!
