“I recently visited bb.q Chicken in Costa Mesa and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. The portions were just right, and the food arrived impressively fast. I found the fries especially unique – they had a powdered cheese coating with a slight sweetness, adding an interesting twist.

The star of the meal was, of course, the chicken. It was juicy and flavorful, with a marinade that didn’t overwhelm the crispiness of the batter underneath. Since this is Korean cuisine, there’s a subtle hint of sweetness in most dishes. While sweet flavors aren’t usually my preference, I knew to expect it with Korean flavors, and it worked well here. “Parking is pretty difficult in this lot. A lot of it is reserved for other businesses in the same vicinity. However, the fried chicken is juicy, crispy, and has the right balance of fat vs meat. The bento order i got was also very filling, and can definitely serve two people for 15 dollars.“

“Tried the Everest pizza at Mountain Mike’s Pizza today and loved it! 🍕 The crust is soft on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside, and the toppings are super generous — every slice is loaded with cheese and fresh ingredients. The flavor is amazing, well-balanced, and very satisfying. Service was excellent, quick, and friendly. The place is clean and welcoming, perfect for dining in or taking out. I’ll definitely be back!“
