Mr. Moto Pizza Costa Mesa is a new go-to local pizza place in Costa Mesa, and one of San Diego’s favorite pizza spots. The quality is even better here. Every slice was awesome and crispy on the bottom, with the crust having the perfect balance of crispy and chewy. The flavor combinations were unique without being overcomplicated, and everything tasted fresh. The special was the Lobsta 4, featuring rich lobster bisque and four cheeses. The Furious Diablo had the perfect amount of spice, and the buffalo/ranch combo hit the spot. The Rocky Mountains and California Love are also good options. The stuffed knots, including a spinach and a pepperoni, and garlic knots are a must. The wings are baked instead of fried, which is a healthier option. The house salad is crisp. The restaurant is nice, modern, and clean, with friendly and professional staff. Great atmosphere and some of the best pizza in a long time. Ask about the current Pizza of the Month, as it is a must-order.
