I was chatting with my boyfriend about revisiting Pueblo and learned that it closed down. Super sad because I had a wonderful experience here. Everything we ordered was delicious, but particularly the bone marrow...*chef's kiss* I just wanted to thank the owners for my phenomenal experience at the restaurant, and I hope that they will be able to reopen one day. This place really set the bar high for tapas and Spanish food!

So sad to see this place closing. The food was phenomenal and at a great price. The ambiance of the place was simply gorgeous. It's a tight area but the place never felt claustrophobic - only ever intimate. The outdoor seating is similar, with a great view of the fountain park outside. Service was extremely warm, friendly, and knowledgeably. The rotating dish selection was always phenomenal (as was the starter popcorn they used to give). There was never a dish that I felt disappointed in. Their charcuterie boards were always beautifully arranged and dishes thoughtfully plated. Not sure why I am writing this review since the restaurant is closing - but want it to by known by owners and others that this was the place that started me on tapas and Spanish food that has me motivated to this day to visit and has had me visit countless other tapas places from NYC to Seattle. Much love and thank you to the owners.

They deliver very tasty meals. They perfectly cooked it and their sauce is fine, too! I recommended to my relatives this restaurant, and they also love it!

One of my favorite places to eat! I can't wait until they reopen, been waiting all year. Drooling just thinking about it!

This location is located in a hipster-ish type place off of the 405 freeway by South Coast Plaza I think called the OC Mix. Totally random since I've never been here, but my old schoolmate took me here once and I decided to revisit. I came with my sis for a snack and after getting recommendations from the bartender and reviewing on Yelp, we decided to go with the skewers, queso fundido and ceviche de mariscos. Everything was absolutely delicious! It came out hot and when we ran out of bread/chips, more were brought out. The staff were really friendly and attentive (we sat at the bar) which is important. I think they've been closed due to COVID, so we haven't been back in a while, but I've heard the rest of the menu is equally delicious. It's a tapas sort of place, but they have a few items that are dinner portioned. It's a smaller place, so I'm not sure I would recommend groups larger than 4 people, though.

This place is amazing! I visited pre-COVID and the food was delicious, will definitely be visiting when the pandemic is over.

Cute little place amongst the mess in Hollywood.Showed up for a lunch and grabbed the Dine LA. I got the duck banh mi and my friend got the burger on the recommendation of the server.Plenty of open space and the patio is quite nice, except for what was right behind my photo. At first we thought it was a garden, which would've been really cool, but no. As my friend put it, "It looks like an area where they take the dogs to go to the bathroom."

Pre-COVID review*I have been coming here over the years now and feel like the quality of some dishes have gone down. The Montadito de Costilla (short rib) was dry and saltier than I remembered. The crustinis from the Queso Fundido dish seemed old and tasted stale. The cevich de Mariscos lacked flavors. The Albondigas de Codero (lamb meatballs) is a solid dish there, tangy, moist and flavorful. My favorite dish is probably their consistently good lamb special. Don't remember the name or what exactly is in the dish but its on the sweeter side, showcasing honey in a savory light. If available, I highly recommend getting it. Cant wait to dine in again after it reopens.

Fantastic service and I would come back again! The food was fantastic and the dishes were very unique along with their drinks they offer.

Located in Costa Mesa in the complex that closed to everything, this location is very convenient. I like the setting of the restaurants, it's not too big and very cozy with wooden interior decorations. I like to go here to hang out with my girl gang for small plates and drinks. And of course, their drinks menu is great too. Mimosa jug for a group is not a bad idea at all.

Queso fundido 5. Seared octopus 6. Flan: there's always room for desserts!

I've been to Barcelona twice, and the tapas here are the closest to the ones I've had there. The short ribs were soooo the best part; I think about them from time to time. The paella was disappointing though.

The first time I tried Pueblo, the food was outstanding. I love how the restaurant is small and cozy, and the servers are always friendly and helpful. Although this place is still a great choice for a date or outing with friends, I felt like my favorite dishes were saltier and heavier this time. Queso Fundido (2/5): pretty yummy but the cheese was cold and brittle when it got to us Mar y Montana (4/5): scallops were perfect and their pork belly tasted good except for the fact that we had to cut away a lot of the fat because there was too much of it Montadito de Costilla (2/5): usually my favorite but the shredded short rib was much saltier than how I remember.. luckily the juicy little tomatoes helped House-made Spanish cheesecake (5/5): the star of the show. Our waitress recommended this to us and it was one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. The cake had a spongier texture that I loved, and the lemon cream on top and guava drizzle on the bottom enhanced every bite... highly recommend this dessert. I'll probably come back to Pueblo someday because of the ambiance, service and to try other dishes, but it's not high on my list for now.

Pueblo is one of my favorite places to get tapas! Every single dish I have tried has been SO good. Their drinks are also delicious too! I love sangria and they have one of the best ones I've ever had. One of the dishes that I liked the most was the paella. We got the seafood one and it was perfect. Since it's a tapas place all the dishes are fairly small, but this dish isn't. It's perfect to share with a group of six. They also give you a lot of seafood, which is a plus! Another dish that I enjoyed was Ceviche de Mariscos. The fish tasted fresh and the citrus in it wasn't overwhelming. I also got the Los Huesos because I am a huge fan of bone marrow. They had multiple pieces and each one had a lot of bone marrow in it. The candied onions were perfect on top. It's a small restaurant, so I recommend making reservations ahead of time if you're coming with a big group.
