I did not think the food was good. The fries did not taste like fresh cut potatoes like Five Guys, they had this starchy coating the way frozen fries do. My burger had this strange tasting sauce that ruined the taste, which was not mentioned in the description, the pizza was too heavy on the cheese and felt soggy. I personally got up a half dozen times to get myself napkins, ketchup, etc so I’m not sure what service is there, which I don’t expect in this type of establishment but it does anger me that the iPad asks me for a tip (which I gave but wish I wouldn’t be asked this). The atmosphere was quiet but it was the end of the night in a mall so that was to be expected. The space is beautifully designed but I did not enjoy my food and won’t be returning.

We usually eat at the tiny Huntington Beach location and love it. We tried the Costa Mesa location last night and brought some friends who had never been. Most of the food was unique and tasty like always, but the service wasn’t very good. We shared the Thai salad and it was okay, but we got the dressing on the side and the amount was woefully inadequate. After eating too many dry spinach leaves, we finally asked for more dressing and they made us dig out 50 cents to pay for it. Come on, man, that’s embarrassing! Did you want us to enjoy the salad or suffer through it? On the drive home, that’s the conversation we had instead of how much we enjoyed the other dishes we got. Shame on you.

Pretty convenient location. Similar in menu to other locales but maybe a bit cooler a vibe rather than an afternoon sandwich shop. Enjoyed their tuna melt, which is seemingly a staple at any of the branches you go to but maybe not quite as toasty or flavorful as the other locales. Also grabbed the flatbread special which was a lot of empty flatbread and not the most interesting combination of flavors, so wouldn't have gotten that again. Sitting at the bar waiting for the food was a nice experience, staff was friendly.

Me and my wife visited and tried it out recently. I ordered the bacon bbq cheeseburger while she got the breakfast sandwich, and we shared an order of tater tots. The tater tots were extremely good.

Both of our sandwiches had bacon on it. the bacon tasted severely burnt. My wife thought it was pre cooked in the oven prior and then reheated and charred badly prior to being put on our sandwiches. otherwise I enjoyed the presentation and ambiance in general of the food, along with the price point (sans the bacon) but if anything the bacon should be removed from the menu if it’s going to ruin the meal.

I have been to the Sessions in Newport beach a few times and I love everything about the place, great food, great service, and the owner greeted me personally! I would 100% recommend this place for a great family meal!

This deli is a gem! We had the Summer Zephyr Sandwich with the Bistro Tomate Soup and the Big Tuna Melt their flavors were out of this world, all the ingredients were super fresh and flavorful, and the bread was amazing. The vibe is really laid-back and welcoming, making it a great spot to grab lunch. They have inside and outside tables. The staff were welcoming and helpful too. Definitely coming back for more! The deli has 2 entrances, one through the parking lot and one through Macy’s so that way you don’t get lost, like I did looking for it. ;)
