“I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.“

They have good lighting, a larger modern menu board with a great selection. They had light hearted music playing and a big tv to watch the Dodger games. I was craving carne asada, but great carne asada not the bland stuff you find at most places. They city we live in DOES NOT have a single place that satisfies our taco and burritos craving. We found this place by chance and it did not disappoint. Trust the 5 star reviews. They're telling the truth. Although this is a 30-40 minute drive from home, we will gladly make the drive for this food. Oh and the horchata is the best!“

“This is probably the best taco truck I have eaten at so far. We have ordered burritos, tacos, tortas and fries. All really good and flavorful. The Horchata is also good. As for the meat ,we usually order Al Pastor ,carnitas ,cabeza,carne asada or tripas .They’ll make the tripas real crunchy if you ask them and that’s the way we like them. The price of the food menu items are really reasonable .We order to go but they do have a canopy with a few chairs and tables to sit down and eat .The condiments are always fresh. We usually fill up a couple of containers with green chili sauce .They do have red sauce also if you like it hot. I recommend this place, the food is always good.
